In the 90's, unification bouts were notable because they were so uncommon.

Degale is entertaining but GGG would smash him.

Isn't Chunky a big star in England? Why is he fighting on undercards in front of 2000 people? And a guy he beat in his last fight is in the main.

the hell happened to Bute. The guy is no longer the walderina junior he used to be. He's been showing heart in his last two fights.

Bute is the perfect case of a fighter fucking up his developement because he was too protected. If, back in the days, Interbox had gave him some decent opponents instead of feeding him powder puff after powder puff, he probably wouldn't have froze as pathetically against Froch and Pascal.

Nobody cares about these guys fighting each other. I'd root for Degale though.

buncha mediocre guys making for competitive fights. i dont see any incentive in golovkin moving up there unless degale were to score an impressive kO because of the ££££££££££££££££

These guys are not future HOF, but they are the reincarnation of Ali when compared to the Wade, Rubio and Monroe of this world.

Yeah, that's why dominated a fringe contender and an old also ran. These are guys are the definition of average. I fee bad for GGG that these are his best options if he can't get Canelo.

i wouldnt mind seeing golovkin thrash these guys but they are with al haymon and there is zero incentive for him/hbo to make these fights and pay these scrubs more money than the wades and rubios so that golovkin can face bigger punching bags.

its like this, i understand how some of you would prefer to see these matches, but when you look at things realistically it makes no sense to leave behind the opportunity for a huge payday/major boost into the mainstream to take on the same level of nobody for the same amount of money and (slightly) more risk

Wade is with Haymon, yet he just fought GGG. Stop using this lame and false excuse.

GGG would get a much better fight outta Canelo than scrubs like chunky flunky, fuck that.

Because he isn't a big star in England. He is reasonably well-known so far as boxers go but by absolutely no measure is he a 'big star'. He's about as high profile as Kell Brook.
