A reminder for those that dig high caliber MMA fights on free TV. 8PM on SPIKE...

It will be fun to watch while it last.. Like boxing, two high caliber fighters going at it is a 'can't miss'.

    Torres TKO 2

Of course, followed by back to back episodes of TUF on Spike, setting up the finals.

Watching this Ribeiro makes you realize why these guys earn what they earn. I don´t think you could fight a dumber fight if you tried. Obviosuly the guy is a boxer with some decent kicks and he did pretty good in stand up, so he attempted like four or five takedowns in the fight and was almost choked out immediately on each attempt. Bright kid. :bears::bears:

I have always like Torres, but that fight made me a huge fan. The guy is as legit as they come and should be talked about in P4P conversations. Im not saying he is, just that you need to throw his name out in the conversation. That is definitely a fight that will stay on my DVR.

    2nd Rnd TKO..

Torres completely out classed Tapia. He nailed Tapia with a huge straight right hand that dropped him. Torres immediately pounced on him and pounded him out on the ground.

Torres is a cold blooded killer in the ring. The guy's 135 pounds but he intimidates the shit out me. The UFC needs 135 pound division so this guy can get more exposure. He's got the frame for 145 and I'd love to seem him with Brown and Faber.

I 100% agree. Torres would be a difficult fight for many at 145 and even 155. I am not saying he beats the likes of Griffin and Sherk, but he wouldn't be an easy fight. at 135 he's about as dominant as anyone in the game
