This is the latest fight they’re linking Thurman to. Not sure I believe it, though. Wouldn’t he make more money getting beat by Boots or even Ortiz?

No one will pay thurman what he wants to take any of those 3 ass whippings unless his money has dried up and he's willing to take substantially less

He'd probably make the most vs tszyu in Australia

I have no doubt he'll make more money versus Tszyu than he would versus Boots. The catch is, he'll take a worse beating from Tszyu.

Boots would have just blitzed Thurman inside of 5.

Tszyu will give him a prolonged beating and stop him in 9 or 10.

I expect Tim to give shot Thurman a beating that looks similar to the one Tim's dad gave MAG.

IF true Thurman is a cornball...I would think he could make a few extra million$ getting his ass beat by Crawford, Spence......

Rising star Tim Tszyu will defend his junior middleweight title vs. Keith Thurman on March 30 in Las Vegas, sources tell ESPN. Tszyu-Thurman will headline PBC’s first PPV as part of the new deal with Amazon's Prime Video. Thurman moves up to 154 for first fight in 25 months.

Sources: Tszyu set to defend title vs. Thurman

I might pass on ordering unless the undercard is very strong. Thurman has no chance. It's not a compelling matchup. If it were the 2013-2017 Thurman, it'd be a helluva matchup, but it's simply a name for Tim to pad now.

I'd rather order Garcia-Romero, since that's a fight either man can win.

I thought PAW was gonna rematch Pitbull Cruz in the inaugural Amazon Prime PPV. What happened to that rematch?

    Really?

Neither are worth ordering but tszyu thurman is two higher caliber guys

Romero is a chump and garcia is a fraud

Tszyu is really the only legit fighter of the 4

Plus you get Lara vs zerfa on the undercard!

Oh I fully agree that Tim is a much better fighter than Garcia and Romero, but the outcome isn't in doubt. Thurman is an old man and hasn't fought in years. He's gonna get the shit kicked outta him.

In Garcia-Romero, a case can be made for either guy winning.

Thurman is washed up but at least he competed at a high level at one point and beat some top 5 to 10 opponents. Has romero ever even beat a top 20 guy? Thurman is still more legit than garcia at this point as well.

garcia romero is Just a shitty matchup between 2 never was bums that will sell well on ppv for whatever reason

You're interested because garcia is a fraud and may lose to a fraud who can crack a little? Idk man that shit don't interest me in the least bit

I would have figured that Thurman would at least get himself a tune up fight before getting back in with a champion. Such a shame that he's wasted so much in his career ever since Pac beat him. At least he's finally stepping up. Tim should be expected to win, although I'm curious to see if Thurman can at least make it a tough fight.

Leap-amateur Thurman lasts a couple of rounds.

It's a cash-out. Tszyu is his only money option at this point. Keith isnt interested in having a tune-up to get sharp. He just wants a final check.

He previously wanted to cash out against Bud or Spence, but it must be apparent to him that neither of those matches are ever happening.

Tszyu was his final money option.

Because of Tszyu's size and firepower, I'm not even sure PRIME Thurman would have beaten him. But at least with prime Thurman it would have been an exciting, and competitive matchup.

Garcia-Romero is a matchup between two fragile guys who are roughly on the same level. Both have pop, both have dodgy chins, and neither one can defend worth a damn. That equals guaranteed stoppage, with the winner unclear either way.

We ain't talking Ali-Frazier here, but objectively, if you put the hate for both these clowns aside, it's an exciting matchup.

More exciting than watching a young, hungry fighter beat down a washed up, smaller man who has been woefully inactive for 7 years.

He had been calling for those fights on YouTube but he even said that realistically he doesn't deserve those fights yet. He said he needs to work his way back up.

Both Bud and Spence are close to retirement. They ain't checking for Thurman anymore.

Thurman blatantly ducked Spence when both were in their physical primes.

In recent years, he's called out Spence just cause he wants a final payday from someone.

Bud has no interest in Thurman. The only fight that interests Crawford now is Canelo.

In the HIGHLY HIGHLY unlikely event that Thurman upsets Tszyu, then I can see Spence having interest in fighting him. But it's too far-fetched to even consider. Thurman ain't beating Tszyu at this stage of his career.

The shame in this matchup is with Tszyu. Plenty of good opposition at 154. Thurman?

He’ll make more money with Keith and he knows it. Plus I’m sure he views it as less risk.

When Tim is really pushed in a grueling fight, I wonder if he'll prove to be a front runner like his old man was.

I doubt he'll be pushed by a shot Thurman though.

It's a question mark. Like his old man, Tim likes a bit of room and time to think.
