He also had that near miss with the guy whose face swelled up badly.

Tszyu vs Ortiz would be ppv worthy for sure. But I think it’s gonna be Bud vs Tszyu later on in the year.

Fundora at +310. Thurman was at +600

Fundora could be just long enough and accurate enough and awkward enough to wear Tim out.

But he could likewise just be gangly spindly enough to be eroded by a proper intelligent approach.

Zoo strikes me as being a bit like the father ...a bit prone to being in love with his own power and too straight-on..

If Fundora uses his height, boxes behind his long jab, he could befuddle an inexperienced, somewhat pobderous Tszyu.

If he tries to dogfight in close it won't go too well.

All good points. He's definitely straight on. Loves to have room and time to think. Nice left rip like his old man. But if Fundora is smart he could derail the Zoo train.

Fundora does strike me as being relatively self confident and happy to be in there. He's a handful too.

It will be very very interesting.

Tim lacks the athleticism and explosiveness that his old man had. He's just a heavy handed hitter; whereas Kostya was heavy handed WITH explosive handspeed, which made his power more devastating in a P4P sense.

I don't think it will take a master to beat Tim, but I doubt Fundora is the guy for the job.

The old man had what he called "Artistic Execution" which was derived from his extensive amateur background. Kostya was a World Amateur Champ. I think he beat Forrest in the final or semi finals.

Son Tszyu has none of that. Plus he seems to have a lot of his dad's shortcomings.

I put him in the "novelty" bracket still.

I just think Kostya was more naturally gifted. The amateur experience is big, but you also need natural gifts. Kostya had more of them than Tim does.

Tim Tszyu is rather basic, but he’s a solid guy. I think he’s gotten as far as he’s gotten mostly on hard work and determination. He’d have been too much for Thurman at this point, especially. And I expect him to beat Fundora.

He’d get schooled by Bud and possibly loses to Vergil Ortiz, too.

If there’s one thing that Tim might have over his dad, it could be determination and heart. He gets hit, but I wouldn’t call him a front runner, and he never gives ground.

But he has to have that to balance out the lack of natural talent and overall ability compared to his father.

Vergil Ortiz strikes me as not nearly as good as his hype.

Ortiz could beat tszyu. Madrimov definitely should be favored over tszyu in a neutral location

Yeah Zoo #2 needs to beat an A level fighter, and a dangerous undefeated tough guy like Madrimov would be a great fight.

    Tszyu stops Fundora in 9.

Pitbull stops Rolly sometime late, but in a tougher fight than most expect.

I ordered. Hope the card is worth it. I'm expecting both Tszyu-Fundora and Cruz-Rolly to be exciting, regardless of who wins.

Looks like we could be looking at Tszyu-Spence next, assuming Timmy gets by Fundora. We'll be able to handicap that matchup better after tonight, but as of now, it looks to me like a bad decision for Spence in his first fight back.

Errol is making a mistake taking a tough first fight back. Tim Tszyu is in his prime now and Spence has been inactive even before the Crawford fight.

But I suspect Errol won’t be around the boxing game too much longer . One or two fights at best I think is what he may have left.
