Well, this card is now barely worth mentioning on all-time lists, haha. Fucking Jones.

 

not that I was particluarly interested in the Jones-Cormier rematch (expected Jones to win another rather uneventful decision), this is sure a major fuck up on Jones part. Wonder if his career is over in the UFC.

 

You have to wonder how fed up White is with Jones' crazy ass. He must have been for a while now granting him all these exceptions... 3 day rehab from coke... ::

 

Jon Jones is his own worst enemy. He's never been defeated in a fight. He defeats himself through decisions he makes in his personal life. I hope he comes back from this. It can already be argued that he's the greatest fighter the UFC has seen at this point in his career.

This card is still stacked and worth watching. Maybe not all time great worthy without Jones / Cormier, but you never know. They seem determined to get as many great fights as possible for these big number events like UFC 100 and 200.

 

Cormier has said he's willing to step up to heavyweight to fight a last minute replacement on 2 days notice. Literally every fight on this card seems guaranteed to be exciting and fun. I hope Cormier still gets to be a part of it. He's at the end of his prime fighting years at best.

 

What really sucks is, Jones could've been the best ever. He was literally walking through the best fighters in the world.

It's a pity.

It's possible. He'd still be young if he came back after a 2 year suspension. It doesn't seem likely at this point, making another comeback without fucking it up again.

Doesnt matter. He'd be a confirmed juicer. That eliminates any possibility of being considered among the best ever.

 

Cormier should fight Lesnar - I wanna see some wrestling.
