I've seen the fight enough to know GSP had an off night. I have over 1000+ MMA fights so I'm sure I've seen it more times than you.

I was on several mma boards and everybody was thinking that Rich looked visibly disturbed or timid while walking to the cage in the first fight with Silva. We'll see if he can pull it off in the rematch where he has hometown advantage. They're gonna be booing Silva like crazy.

Rich Franklin is a wide swinging overrated hype job by the UFC. He will get blasted again like he was against Machida and Silva.

Franklin and Liddell were carefully matched bums.

    Portuegese are "white".

MWS, would you pick Silva to beat Tito ORTIZ?

Hopefully, it's on the same card as Sherk/Bj, that would be sick.

Exactly lol, I am not really sure what BTG was talking about to be honest. I have been to portugal, they are white, with a low black population

And about silva vs ortiz, to be honest I don't rate ortiz much at all. I thought he would beat evans, and I thought he won that fight, but that's not saying much.

BUT - he is pretty fucking big and fairly strong at light heavyweight, so I think he may be able to take silva just through the size advantage.

    Yes, but so what?

They speak English in America, it doesn't make them English. They speak Spanish in Mexico, it doesn't make them Spanish. They speak French in Canada, it doesn't make them French, they speak French in parts of Africa, it doesn't make them French. And so on and so forth :D

Yeah, in all seriousness, anderson looks much more like a pure black man to me than both rampage and evans.

I hope what he meant was that they've been matched with fighters that gave them no trouble style wise and that's the truth.

Not really. Lidell fought a lot of wrestlers the past few years but before that he fought plenty of guys who strike well. Hell, Couture actually strikes well he just don't have any power. Franklin has fought some pretty tough guys as well.

The only times I ever cheered for Liddell were in his 2 fights against Ortiz. I care little for him and his ugly sloppy style. Dana calls this guy the Tyson of the UFC and even goes so far as to say that Rampage Jackson was like Buster Douglas when he dethroned Chuck in possibly the biggest upset in UFC history.
F*cking idiot! It's funny how much sh*t Dana talks to hype up his boy, especially when he was in front row at Pride Final Conflict 2003 when Rampage beat Chuck's ass the first time.
So I don't see how he could even possibly conceive that Rampage was a 40-1 underdog against Liddell in the rematch, of Buster/Tyson proportions.
    F*cking brainwashing at its finest.

He said it and he meant it. But you have to understand, the bulk of his audience is the teenage demographic, mainly white crowds. They all almost believed that Chuck Liddell was the second-coming of God after the UFC's mega-millions bullsh*t marketing.
Then they got brought down to earth when they saw CHuck's little china chin get tagged. F*ckin' joke!

I used to like Chuck back in 2002-2003. Then after the Couture fights I started hating him as his arrogance and self-marketing bothered me more and more.

Speaking of the UFC, it's been reported that BoDog's last ppv event with the headlining main event of 'Fedor vs Lindland' did a ppv buyrate of 13,000.
I guess my reaction to that isn't shocking at all. 13,000 is ridiculously low. No word yet on the ppv buyrate of Elite Fighting's most recent ppv with Shamrock vs Baroni.

I'm sure the Shamrock vs Baroni PPV did more than 13k buys. That is pathetic but they cannot expect anyone to buy a mismatch like Lindland vs Fedor. I mean seriously, if there ever was an outcome that was a forgone conclusion it was this fight.
