I wish boxing was more like the UFC...make the FIGHTS people want to see. Fucking Spence and Crawford bullshitting us for years now...

Usman will be back on top....immediate rematch.

No UFC posts in 6 months by anyone and it took this kind of result to get a few. Usman may very well win the belt back but I am glad he was humbled. Edwards will get a nice pay day out of it either way and may even have the fight in England.

Yeah there was a hint of the Tate Vs Weaver about it. Leon had taken a beating up to that point before he found that kick.

Then again, maybe he'll have put Usman in his shell.

"Leaned into death" was how McEgger put it.

Talk about a lucky punch or in this case kick. I was glad Edwards won for several reasons. One it brought some excitement into that division. Two Usman was a bit overconfident borderline cocky and it's nice to see guys like that get humbled. And three if somebody was going to beat Usman I'm glad it was Edwards. Seems like a solid dude. The way he got all emmotional post fight while talking to his mom was nice to see.

Having said that Usman will probably win the rematch. He was dominating Edwards in almost every round up until the ko. Edwards is not a bad fighter I just don't see him as dominant champion in that division. He got his 5 minutes of fame and a nice paycheck which is as much as you can ask from an average fighter like Edwards.

dont really care to start a new topic but whats up with the mickey mouse outfit that is the UFC?

ppv main eventer misses weight by SEVEN AND A HALF pounds, so they just jumble all the fights up at the last minute.

who gives a shit about training camps, and preparation for specific foes  :Jest:

That is an anomaly and has never happened before. As a fan I think it makes the card even better. Diaz vs Fergusson is more evenly matched. The fans dont get screwed out of a cancelled fight and with the changes the chance of Holland getting an upset are pretty good. unless you had money riding on the previous card its actually a good thing for the fans.

mockey mouse shit…but it was a strong card with top level talent…move 3 fight/6 fighters around and you still have a very good ppv.
