Isn't it obvious that the apes are going to win?

I heard that the humans win. Apparently George Lucas was consulted on the final script...and you know he has no respect for continuity...

Would be a huge surprise if the humans would win. Then they should start a 'Planet of the humans' series, where the humans take the Planet back from the Apes. Or they somehow learn to share the Planet. We are all apes after all.

I still haven't seen War for TPOTA. I'm so backed up on 2017 movies that it's not even funny.

Been in older movie mode lately.

We share 95% of our genes with chimps and bonono's. We are as close to chimps and bonobo's as lions are to tigers. Yet, we call lions and tigers 'cats', but you don't call us 'apes'. According to scientists, humans belong to the same family (hominidae) as chimps, bonobos, gorillas and orangutans.
On this Wikipedia page you can see how the hominidae are classified:

Utter absolute nonsense. We are not as close to chimps as lions are to tigers. A lion and s tiger can have an offspring; a liger. Are you trying to tell me that if we artificially inseminate a chimp with human sperm that there will be a hybrid offspring?

    Utter absolute nonsense

    Yes.

    Just kidding.
But we are really close to chimps, bonobo's and gorilla's.
You do accept that we are closer to bonobo's than to tigers, right?
Scientifically we all belong to the same family.

it's a good movie...much better than the last one for sure
    i liked the first too

it was stupid how they had a kid called Cornelius...it's way too soon to link to the original movie - i always thought it would still be a few hundred years in the future
with that one Cornelius kid they've made it so that the whole timeline for the movies is under 100 years, wtf

Sure...we're more similar to apes than we are to tigers...but we are also more similar to tigers than we are to fish. So does that make us tigers?

The point is that you said that we are as close to apes as lions are to tigers and I destroyed that argument with consummate ease...although I don't profess to be as scientifically astute as you are.

Not surprised...anyone with eyes can see that Bonobos ARE Chimpanzees.
