does anybody really think Weeks stops it if it's Ward that is in the same situation? And the fact that the NSAC refused to use instant replay is such blatant corruption that I'm amazed some are blaming incomptence for this whole fisaco.

but le'st be real for a second. If one of the favorite fighters of these guys went to a foreign country and was screwed over twice like Kovy was, no way would they say it was only incompetence

Ward's Only the "Biggest Boxer of Roc Nation" BECAUSE Miguel Cotto Kicked Them to the Curb, Dude...He's Their "Biggest Boxer" by DEFAULT:D...

So We're Going to PRETEND Roc Nation ISN'T a Fledgling Promotional Entity Now???...

If Ward were a Golden Boy, Al Haymon or Even Top Rank Fighter, the "Corruption" Theory Might Actually Have a DEGREE of Validity to It...But as Is, it Seems Like Ya'll are REACHING...

100% agREED on Tony Weeks Doing a PISS POOR Job of Ref'ing that Night...But that DOESN'T Automatically Mean he was Corrupt or Complicit to Something More NEFARIOUS...

Also add to it 2 of the 3 judges had Ward ahead. Whole lot of incompetence going on.

I must say, guys are acting as though this was some sort of robbery. It wasn't an optimal ending but it wasn't like Kovalev was dominating him.

I just think the hatred toward Ward is so high (which I don't quite get) that unless Kovalev was laid prone like Hatton vs Pac there'd be cross words.

I think it's telling that those that are arguing for the incompetence case are the same few that had Ward winning the first fight

Lol, you silly share cropper. The fight was about even, one guy got rocked and then "finished" with a series of low blows. WTF wouldn't that cause controversy? Only you barbershop dwellers and local gym posers are showing bias and acting like it didn't happen.

It Was Another Hard to Score Fight, Whiskey...Just Like the Last 10 Rounds of the 1st Bout Were...

If Kovalev Dropped Ward Early Again, Yet was BEHIND at the Time of the Stoppage, THAT Would Be a Pretty Clean Sign of Corruption...

Ya'll Are Acting Like the Ward-Kovalev Scores were On Par w/the Pac-Bradley I Cards. Or Like the 1 Judge that Had Canelo BEATING Floyd...

When someones always gets the benefice of the doubt over another, even if it's for relatively minor or arguable things, something is definitively wrong.

It's possible to give Ward 4 rounds of the first 7 but it's hard. I had it as 5-2 for Kovalev at the time of the stoppage (exact same score as Harold Lederman for a change). The 1st and 3rd rounds I thought Kovalev won them close but if you reverse those rounds then ward has the 4-3 edge that two of the judges gave him.

I agree. After just seeing the fight I came in here and read like the last 4 pages and couldn't believe my eyes. The bias and misrepresentations sound like the kind of shit in political arguments.

First of all, all of Ward's body shots looked on the belt to me and not below. And please don't complain about that 2nd supposed low blow that Kov doubled over for. Ward hit him so softly there that I actually laughed out loud that Kov tried to fake being hurt from it. Then I rewound it, showed it to my wife and laughed again.

The stoppage was premature? I had no problem with the stoppage either. Kov was so hurt and fucking tired he couldn't even raise his arms to defend himself while simultaneously getting killed to the body. He sat on the ropes and couldn't punch back so it was a pretty forgone conclusion to me. Fights have been stopped for less with less complaining on here.

Maybe Ward landed his last shot or two low, but who knows with how Kov was covered up and hunched over. Either way he was hurt by legal punches. For the record I thought Kov was winning the fight before he got stopped just like I thought Kov won the first fight. At the conclusion of the fight I was actually wondering if Kov had some kind of prefight abdominal or rib injury with the way he was reacting to those body shots.

I couldn't believe what I saw when I came on here after watching that fight. Fightbeat's finest arguing over this shit, like this? With a lot of guys making it racial too? Damn the country is really going down the shitter isn't it?

No judge had Canelo beating Floyd. One judge had it even.

With what they're paying Ward in these failed events, you have to wonder how much money RocNation is willing to throw away and where the money is going to come from to pay Ward's purse against average opponents.

Wow that's not good. But I think illegal streams contribute to the with these particular fights.

I paid for it. Great matchup with an okay undercard. I'm surprised buy rates were that low.

I just thought of Kovalev's best next step. He needs to get into that super tournament going on at cruiser.

So Yeah, Like REED was Saying Last Week, There was NOfuckingINCENTIVE for Corruption in this Instance...

The Promotion LOST Money on All Levels and DIDN'T Sell Worth a Fuck...And It's NOT Like Fans Will Be Lining Up in Droves to See Ward's Next Bout Either...
