Hes not as tough as Morales or JMM. Hes tough in that he won't pull a no mas but he will give up trying to win.

Indeed. Manny has an excellent chin.

Manny also took a few of Miguel's left rips to the guts and he seemed fine in taking them.

Shane Mosley tasted that shit and ran for 8 rounds.

Cotto landed a really nice left hook to the body in the second round. I was wondering if that was going to make a difference. Clearly it didn't.

I'm pretty sure that Pac felt them alright, but he's mentally very strong and unlikely to be discouraged by a hard shot.

Cotto felt Pac's power, went to mental jelly land, and ran away.......to hospital.

Yeah, but the difference is after those 8 rds Shane was coming forward and Miguel was going backwards. Shane is a lot more durable and loves slug fests. What Cotto was doing was outboxing Shane. If Manny tries to brawl with Shane, I don't know what the outcome would be but it'd be an awesome fight.

Wasn't Pac sparring with middleweights? I'm sure that prep'd him for Cotto's shots.

Cotto made the classic "big guy fighting the little guy who's moving up in weight" mistake in expecting his power to make the difference.

It would be a better than Pac-Mayweather that's for certain. If Pac-Mayweather wasn't such an obvious "must have" kind of fight, i'd love to see Manny vs Shane.

That's a great one for boxing fans.

It's tough for me. I want to see Pac-Shane now because Shane's expiration date could hit at any moment. However I'm also anctious to see Pac put an 0 on Floyd's leger, so I want to see that one just as bad.

I'm not sure, but he was sparring with Jose Luis Castillo. (weight jokes aside) I thought that was a pretty solid choice of sparring partners.

I'm just speaking of the potential quality of the fight itself. If Pacquiao and Mayweather weren't neck and neck for the top of the P4P list i'd rather see Manny against Shane for entertainment value.

I just don't see Pacquiao-Mayweather being a competitive back and forth kind of fight regardless of who comes out on top.

The only one who ran in Mosley-Cotto was Miguel.

PAC IS UNDERRATEDLY tough. He looked like he got jumpedafter the fight. I shat a brick in the first round when Miguel was Manhandling Manny. Cotto obvious damaged him, but he never mentally hurt him or physically to the point to deter him.
