    Civil War bored the shit outta me also. I'm in the minority, I simply don't find Captain America nor Ironman compelling.

    The characters are just so flat.

    The plot also revolved along the the exact same "collateral damage" theme as Superman vs. Batman. While that movie certainly had plenty of flaws, I found it about 100 times more compelling then Civil War.

    Just check out these stills of the major face-off, and tell me this is not completely un-imaginative. It's like a 6 on 6 game of Super-bro vs. Super-bro in a conveniently empty airport.

    Growing up...I was a DC man and not a Marvel man. I never knew anything about Iron Man or Captain America before this MCU stuff started and frankly I wasn't interested.

    However...

    Marvel has done a great job with these less-than-compelling characters. DC has wasted their potential.

    Yeah, Batman V Superman didn't live up to its hype, but it's far more re-watchable than Civil Bore.

    I tend to agree. With the exception of the X men, Marvel characters tend to be cheesy. The team characters not the super villains like thanos, apocalypse and galactus.


    However....Marvel studios know better how to translate comics to screen and DC have had a hard time with this of late. The Nolan Batman series and the first two superman films were good though.
