I'd like for anyone willing to participate to tell us what the point is of all of these threads are? Seems to me some threads dedicated to bashing the performance of a fighter are okay, and don't elicit insults from nearly every member of the board.

Threads dedicated to bashing the performance of other fighters, however, do just that.

Can anyone make sense of this seemingly contradictory state we find ourselves in on this forum?

Are certain fighters exempt from criticism? And if so, why?

Isn't part of being a sports fan having players you hate as well as ones you like? And in cases when a player you hate humiliates himself, isn't it understandable that fans who hate this particular player would find interest in analyzing his awful performance - perhaps exploring the reasons for his horrible performance?

And isn't the pain this causes fans of these players part of being a sports fan too? Is it appropriate for them to get personal and sling insults at the person who finds it interesting to analyze just how badly a particular player performed?

    Key word = Objective!

I would "hate" Lewis but also accept he was HW champ and beat all contenders.

We can hate or like who ever we want, its when dudes have the blinkers on and refuse to have a logical debate - It gets a little crazy on here.

No rules, this messageboard needs a good wilderness, ...for long periods,..our homeland was unmoderated, sure, Jason caught up with us all in the end, but it was a hoot while it lasted. Us boxingtime clan have a super god damn immune system :crafty:.
