Wilfredo Gomez is rightfully regarded as the 122 GOAT, and many consider him damn near unbeatable at the weight.

Which guy outta the following would have the best chance at beating Gomez at 122?

    Jofre
    Olivares
    Barrera
    Morales
    Fenech
    Rigo
    Hamed
    McKinney

I kinda threw in Kennedy McKinney as a sleeper, but I'll be honest, McKinney would have had zero chance against Gomez.

Out of the ones on the list, I'd say Jofre with his all-around speed and skill, and maybe Fenech with his speed, intensity, and workrate.

Agreed on both, but probably Jofre with a better chance.

I see Gomez stopping Fenech late in a war.

Assuming he could be at his very sharpest, I'd give Olivares a very good chance. Rigo maybe, had he turned pro earlier

Rigo lacks the durability to beat Gomez.

And the heart. I mean, I dont wanna judge him solely on the Loma fight, but its safe to say that Gomez had a different level of heart. Gomez had as much heart as any fighter in history, and he'd be willing to go places Rigo wouldn't be willing.

Moreover, Rigo would find Gomez a helluva lot more multidimensional than the one dimensional Donaire.

Bazooka breaks Rigo down to the body, and Rigo either gets stopped or decides in his corner that he's had enough.
