Why doesn't Wilder face Joseph Parker?

I hope Hearn can work his magic and get the
Because Parker is holding out for a bigger pay day vs AJ. Forget that fight if Parker gets brutalised by Wilder.

No surprises that Wilder is facing Stiverne next.

I don't understand why, a month out, with both fighters scheduled to fight the same day, they didn't just have Wilder fight Stiverne at the already scheduled date?

I'd go Stiverne to Whyte to Joshua, for Wilder.

To promote AJ-Wilder, get Wilder over here to the UK, beat Whyte then get AJ in the ring to announce their fight.

Tbh, that won't happen as the fight would take place across the pond most likely. I see Parker facing AJ before Joshua faces Wilder. AJ-Parker definitely takes place in the UK.

Wilder thinks way too highly of himself.

And I actually think he's regressing as a fighter. Not that he was ever even good. But he's getting worse. AJ would ice him and it wouldn't even be competitive.

Wilder is not as good as AJ. But that doesn't mean he can't beat him.

Wilder only has a slim puncher's chance.

I see him getting picked apart with AJ's superior technique and accuracy. Straight punches usually get to the target before wild punches.

Wilder's technique is not on the same level as AJ's, but he's still quick enough, and has the quickness, to catch AJ who is there to be hit.

exactly. AJ has shitty head movement. Wilder is will find him, and AJ seems to be a bit chinny. This is a real intriguing fight

Aj is definitely a little chinny, but he has the experience of being hurt and coming back to win by KO. Based on that he'd have self belief if he does get hurt. Plus Wlad...even an old Wlad, still hits harder than Wilder.

Wilder may hit harder than Wlad, but he won't find AJ as easy to hit as One may think. An old Wlad still has one of the best jabs in the heavyweight division. Wilder doesn't have a good jab.

I honestly see a Lewis-Grant scenario playing out if they fight. Wilder will come out aggressive, AJ will see his shots coming and will find too many openings for counter punches and Wilder simply won't have the chin or 'know how' to withstand the onslaught. Wilder's only chance is a big bomb that AJ can't recover from. And he has to get there first. Otherwise, I don't see it.

Agree. Wilder def hits hard. It is how he managed to accomplish what he has with such limited skills. Plus his height

I'm not sure so. I think Wilder and Wlad have different types of power. If that was Wilder who had landed the shot that Wlad landed on AJ to put him down, AJ's either not getting up or Wilder's throwing everything at him and getting the job done. I would be surprised and impressed if Joshua isn't layed out.

However, the punch Wlad landed was as perfect a straight right thrown with all his body weight on it.

I don't think Wilder is capable of unleashing such a perfect punch. He windmills his shots a lot.

True. But surprisingly, he also throws counters. Also, he has unusually long range and his awkwardness can actually be an advantage. I think because of his power, height and unconventional style he is a wild card.

Wilder is even more chinny than AJ with far less polish.

    AJ stops the windmill

Wilder winning via windmill KO would be hilarious.

It would be like Andries' Harding KO in the rematch
