My powers did not fail me on this, From The Ashes!:nono:
My talking is done on MMAfighting.com and MMAnews forums. That's where we live and breath MMA, that's where the polls were made and that's where I voted for Couture leading up to the fight. Would I have bet the house on Couture? No! But as the fight drew closer and the more I discovered about the Couture/Sylvia sparring sessions at Team Quest 5 years back, the more I leaned towards Couture to take the title. Ultimately, the night of the fight I went 100% behind my pick that Couture would lift the title. I envisioned it in a way where he would do alot of holding and takedowns and alot of lay and pray, leading to a somewhat boring decision win. I never envisioned that he was going to treat Sylvia like a stupid little 4th grade dipsh*t. Nobody thought that. I felt Couture would scrape by in a tough struggle in a fight that mainly would happen on the ground with alot of boring moments. Instead, he goes out, completely nullifies Tim's striking game, and throws him down to the ground at his leisure. A very good performance. It's safe to say Tim Sylvia has been completely exposed and I wish him well in the future. It's going to be a difficult climb back into contention. Dana White most likely will use him as a gatekeeper, try to ride out the contract and probably throw him back in the gutter where he found em.

A proper jab will befuddle 99% of heavyweights. Few people realize how truly weak the division is behind Fedor, Nog and Cro Cop.
