Rule 13 Part {a} Subsection II Paragraph I of the Fightfans Code clearly and explicity states that....."fights between unknown midgets with unpronounceable names shall not qualify for our attention, however entertaining they may be, and attempts to bring these fights to the attention of other fight-fans shall be met with a $5000 fine and 12 months imprisonment for the first offence".
Sadly, a bill like this would fit nicely along side the dribble that comes of congress and the executive branch these days. By the way, shouldn't fighters get paid more in a manner more reasonably proportional to the costs they incur in their training camps? What's it cost a fighter to train? $20K? They should be paid no more than $25k then for their efforts. No?
Fighters should get paid relative to the value the public places on their performance, and this is exactly how it works in practice. Its not fair, and it discriminates against little guys who try hard to make weight and then fight their raisin-balls off, but thats how it is. Both Purjapompontongasuramsongjon-5K-Battery and the other guy deserved a lot more than they were actually paid. I'm watching it now, its cracking stuff, but I just can't get up for it most of the time. I am as much to blame as they are.
