HEAT is the best movie in the past 20 years

Lets be best friends forever. Probably my favourite ever film. Adore it.

 

Some of those choices are debatable, but I'd say that Crimson Tide and Seven are DEFINITELY better movies than Heat. Hell if it was up to me, Crimson Tide would have won for best picture that year. But I dont think it was even NOMINATED.

Braveheart is also better than Heat... and that too came out in 95.

Crimson Tide over Heat? Not a chance. Both excellent films however.

First thing comes to mind is The Shawshank Redemption.

 

The story was powerful and the movie, great, but it was non-action based. Heat had the perfect balance IMO and that's hard to do with action movies. In essence, I give HEAT bonus points for degree of difficulty.

 

Heat cant hold a candle to Shawshank.
