I remember reading somewhere that one of the Chuckle Brothers crashed his moped out in Spain or something and a load of British tourists gathered round his prone body lying in the middle of the road and started saying "oh dear", "oh dear oh dear"...and so on

I've probably mentioned this time after time but I don't like it when players try to influence the ref to get an opponent sent off, then clapping if the red card is shown. Despicable IMO.

West Ham found a real gem from Senegal.

    A youthful one at that.

Shame they won't be able to retain Song, they may have had something to build with.

Sakho is a great signing. He always seems to be in the right place at the right time. A big, strong lad too.

Barca have been on the backfoot every since scoring. Messi even picks up a yellow. Benzema has come extremely close to equalizing twice.

This game could easily be 3-2 already.

Ronaldo dive. What a shocker. :shit #2:

At least the ref didn't give the penalty. Should have been a yellow.

Messi spent the last 15 minutes of the half walking and standing idly.

Ronaldo up two with 10 minutes to go still sprinting off the ball, trying to get goals.

Messi walking around. Hasn't broken into a sprint all game.

Real Madrid deserved the win. I'm really not liking the new look to this Barca side. Yeah they may win La Liga but there's not enough balance on this new team. Xavi and Iniesta are past their primes, and Messi is starting to show the signs of decline... Crazy that he's still so young, though. But he loses the ball a lot more while dribbling and his finishing is starting to decline as well. He's still a great passer there and is the most creative player on the team, leading the league in assists too. But from here on out, Messi will no longer be the Messi of 08-12...

It's a new era in Barca and there is some promise, but some of the players have either got to go, or need to take a back seat. There is a desperate need for new blood.

And yep he is, whilst his (lack of) international achievements stop him joining the likes of Maradona and Pele there's absolutely no question he is one of the greatest players of all time. Phenomenal footballer.
