AN is a turgid, pretentious mess Especially once they get to his lair or whatever and Dennis Hopper vomits dialogue by the bucketload
Disagree strongly with some of opinions here...stone cold masterpiece....the original only, Redux is to be avoided completely.
Don't listen to Cdogg's movie snobbery. The guy considers that run-of-the-mill stoner flick Big Lebowski some work of art, yet AN is shitty? Makes no sense.
The idea that The Big Lebowski, an utterly unique film is a "run of the mill" anything is fucking INSANE
"Like I said before", TBL is a fun little flick to watch, but I damn sure don't see it as a masterpiece. Fargo and No Country? Sure, those are masterpieces. But not fuckin TBL.
I'd say it's more like comparing an Apple to a screwdriver They're totally different things I know which one I'd rather watch though
"The bowling scene" ... which one? There's half a dozen scenes involving bowling, you daft fucking twaaat
´The´ bowling scene, you cretin; ¨Mark it zero!!¨ The scene, whereby, if you type the words: ´The Big Lebowski´ into Google and Images, 80% of the pics are from that scene. The only scene worth watching. DIE.
I strongly suspect that's all you've seen of the film -- that which can be googled Now, give us a nice Christine Chubbuck impersonation, cunt
Don´t need to. I have the gift of being able to watch 20mins of a movie and deciding if it´s any good or not.
You know there´s only ONE poster here who fits that image and character. Which reminds me, why hasn´t he died horribly yet?
I have the gift of seeing the first word of a post and the poster name "Dark Magus" and knowing without any further reading that the post is utter shit
Not sure why. Redux has everything the original has, but on top of that actually has narrative content which ties scenes together in the movie. Something totally lacking in the original. You cunts probably think the original U.S. cut version of "Once Upon A Time In America" is the superior version.
