The big question indeed. That will answer all the questions. Either fury gets knocked out by s rampaging Wilder or Fury shows he’s a survivor and fights back.

I think the longer it goes, the better for Fury. Wilder needs to get it done within the first 5 rounds. He’ll have a harder time landing with leverage on an opponent that’s the same height as him and who can side step and shift on a dime. And as Fury frustrates him and throws off his game plan, I don’t see Wilder having enough creativity to make openings for himself.

 

Personally I think Wilder has what it takes to get the job done.

For Wilder to win, I really just think he needs to maniacally attack from the outset and get at Fury, hurt him, cut him, do something.

If he allows it to turn into a pose-fest, he's going to get beaten.

 

I watched this interview last night. Happened to be drinking an iced tea as I was watching.

When Wilder was talking about being both Deontay and the Bronze Bomber, and Fury replied "Well, you and your alter ego are a pack of bums!"

I literally spit my drink out laughing.

 

When Fury stops the BS and just talks boxing, he's got good watch-ability.

Wilder has some fuckin nerve considering he's dissed Tyson multiple times, yet in every interview calls himself "The Baddest Man on the Planet".

No one will EVER consider you that, you windmilling bum.

I tend to lean towards Wilder getting it done as well. 36 minutes is a long time to go without getting caught by a bomb, and when you factor in Fury's time out, well it's going to be tough. Usually when you put a superior boxer in there against a guy with a "puncher's chance", 99% of the time I go with the boxer, this is that 1% that makes me think differently. Wilder's power is just something you don't fuck around with, and he not only retains it throughout the whole fight, he BELIEVES in it the whole fight. That's a big thing, he's just going to keep trying to land it.

 

Fury has a point when he says to Wilder "I bump into people like you every day of my life"............he means that. He's been around dangerous lumps his whole life and has probably been getting into fights and getting beaten for years and years.

You might get killed in a Ghetto but you won't take a beating every day, day in day out, as part of your everyday normal life routine.

That's extremely incorrect. If you're weak, you will most certainly will get your ass kicked regularly in any American hood.

As soon as Fury turned 5, they gave him somebody to fight. As soon as he beat that somebody, they got him somebody else, over and over and over again, every day, literally.

I mean....literally. Day for fucking day up to the stage people began to see some worth in him as an amateur and he got pulled off the gypsy circuit and was managed accordingly.

That guy has, and I know I am repeating myself, literally been fighting all his life.

He says as much when he sneers at Wilder and says........"This is no second option......."

 

The whole gypsies and fighting stereotype is basically the same as the Asians and maths one. They're trained to be good at it from the off. It's not always the case obviously, I'm half-Asian and I'm shite at maths, this probably holds true in regards to a lot of gypsy fighting skills, but I'm never going to try and find out.

If you think the American hood is a tough place, check out most parts of India after 9pm like Delhi. Females are locked inside their homes in fear that they'll be brutally ravaged and raped like the girl in the delhi bus rape incident in 2012. Even 2 year old girls are gang raped in India and often times it's the cops who are also involved in the rapes. Only way to be safe is if females are in large groups with other male friends and they avoid taking the bus or public transportation in the late hours.

They liked each other pre signing the fight and immediately after signing the fight but now it’s getting real and by the time the fight comes there will be genuine animosity and it’s already starting

 

Word. Fury’s self belief is second to none. Interestingly, wilder seems to have the same self belief. Someone’s going to be devastated after the fight.

By the way, so many possibilities in this fight. I just imagined a draw scenario where fury wins 8 rounds but wilder knocks him down 4 times. Wouldn’t that be crazy?
