Yeah, Gomez was simply not great outside of 122. He only managed one good performance at featherweight - his schooling of Juan Laporte. But at 122, he was as dominant as any fighter has ever been at a single weight.
Prime vs prime I give the edge to Gomez, but in a war for the ages with both fighters scoring knockdowns.
