He should best be remembered at 175 as being a guy who lost twice by KO in succession, got DQ'd and, for all his pitbull-baiting BIDNESS expertise, didn't make the biggest fight of his division.

Ultimately, part of a 175lbrs repertoire must be based on how well he did at 200+, and Roy falls behind Moore, Conn, Foster, Spinks etc in that category. Smacking the shit out of Joe Louis for 12 must count for more than beating JOHN RUIZ over 12. The mere fact that Foster CUT Ali is better than beating Ruiz over 12.
