I know...my comment was more a sarcastic one and a joke for Winner By Choke.

That being said....no, Guzman doesn't hit that hard per se at 130, but speed and angles can buzz Soto.

Soto was stunned by Bobby Pacquiao.

    Peace.

Guzman slaps like a girl now and has stamina that rivals Zab Judah for most shite in an elite fighter. How Soto adjusts to Guzman's speed will be the key. If he can time Joan and work his short combinations, he should beat the wasted talent.

Tam - Joan is not an elite fighter.

 ... though sadly, it's not very far from the truth. One thing about Guzman that's always been overrated is his punching power. He was never a one-hitter quitter even during his prime, and his power is even less effective two divisions higher (even if it's a weight where he belonged, all along).

I hope the rest of your post turns out to be wrong, though I'd be lying if I said I dismiss a word of it.

save the laughing for when Double L comes in, insisting that Soto was robbed and that Guzman "fights like a b*tch-azz"

dude, soto"DID" win that fight; GBP needs to be sued out of existence (could happen; let's not pretend GBP isn't a a bumch of mobsters).

my advice - to save the sport - assassinate ODH - imagine the impact..

Despite the victory in his second title defense, Guzman (28-0, 17 KOs) shouldn't expect a call from Pacquiao promoter Bob Arum, who also promotes Soto (43-6-2, 27 KOs).

"If he was thinking Pacquiao, he took himself out of the sweepstakes," Arum said. "He's not appealing to the people. I gotta do 350,000 homes (on pay-per-view) on these fights. I'm lucky I do 150,000 with him. It's more than winning the fight. You have to entertain the people. Who's going to buy this kid? The first six rounds it looked like a fight of the year. The last six rounds, he turned the crowd against him. You have to have people wanting to buy him. The last six rounds he stunk it out."

looks like I did pretty good on this one.

It's simple...I would be worried too if I was on Team Pacquiao and wouldn't want to fight someone like Guzman without a much better risk/reward ratio than the one likely currently presented.

Too much risk and not enough reward.

    Terrible.

I've been saying it for a while. Team Pacquiao and ARum don't care to fight the best they just want the biggest payday.

Neither Guzman nor JMM will get the fight because they are not face first brawlers. They can actually box and will frustrate Pacquiao.

    Get ready for Pacquiao/David Diaz.:dunno:
