    Marciano, obviously.

That Italian-American Light-Heavy that got beat on points by Dick Tiger and who was also stabbed to death in an Alley...De-something he was called.

    I'll say it again...

    Winky Wright.

Donnybrook The Greatest of Are Times

    Frank DePaula.

Dude could punch...put Tiger down twice and Foster down once in the 1st too (though Foster got up and put DePaula down 3 times in the very 1st round and got the stoppage).

    Peace.

    KaukipRrr "Twinkle Toes" McJack

Because no matter how many times I watch the fight, I can't see Tszyu quitting, I see Mohammed Ali's trainer stopping it instead, or so to speak,..

Then does Vargas deserve mention since he was able to push Ike back at times?

I guess Nando deserves mention then.

As well as Ray Mancini. Very physically strong at 135.

    Carlos Monzon.

  12. Neil

    Neil tueur de grenouilles

    brian adams hasn't been mentioned?

  13. slystaff

    slystaff Im Banned

    Lennox Lewis

Arguably the physically strongest fighter in history

  14. Ugotabe Kidding

Ugotabe Kidding WBC Silver Diamond Emeritus Champ

Measuring absolute power, I'd have to guess Valouev might top him. But Lewis had indeed huge strength in his upper body, don't know about his legs though

  15. Pascals Wager

    Pascals Wager Undisputed Champion

Although Holy was smaller, I thought the strength differential was more maked in Holy-Foreman than Holy-Lewis

  16. Breeze

    Breeze WBC Champion

I mentioned it (as well as Donny):flip:

  17. Rainmaker

    Rainmaker "Twinkle Toes" McJack

How about Bernard Hopkins? No one mentioned him.

  18. ArturoGatti

ArturoGatti WBC Silver Diamond Emeritus Champ

    Sinan Samil Sam.

  19. StingerKarl

Frankie was actually gunned down in the alley.
Former police officer and referee Ron Lipton made the arrests of his killers, but they were released due to lack of evidence and the murder remains unsolved to this day.
Frankie was involved with the wrong "Goodfellas" and the wrong dame (a familiar story), he was gunned down after leaving her residence.

    Based on what exactly?

  21. broadwayjoe

    broadwayjoe Undisputed Champion

I would take Norton or Foreman over Holmes in that regard. Holmes won the fight by building up a point lead by jabbing and keeping his distance from Norton, but most of the times when Norton was able to close the distance, he worked Holmes over. Even though Holmes got the decision...Norton seemed the stronger fighter that night. And as strong as Norton was, Foreman was even stronger.

  22. Pascals Wager

    Pascals Wager Undisputed Champion

Zoo was definately the stronger fighter.

  23. Baron

    Baron "Twinkle Toes" McJack

I don't know if he was named but Juan Diaz is pretty strong despite his very average power.
