Vargas
If that's the case, i would figure it would be his left one, and he didn't throw the lead left hook nearly as often as he usually does.
Well to be fair, when he signed to fight Tito he was 38, but come fight time he was 39.
He mentioned in the press conference that he had a pre-fight injury that could have caused a cancellation/delay, but he went though with the fight...
He's mediocre.
Fights between two southpaws are normally lousy. There are some exceptions, but it's overwhelmingly the case.
I always found that strange. Whitaker didn't have the style or attitude that would typically endear him to someone like Merchant.
I don't put much faith in the puncher's chance angle. Roy doesn't react very well to punches anymore, and he practially laughed at Tito's shots....
Kessler, Pavlik and Abraham would all beat Tito as well.
Yeah but that fight would make Tito-Jones look like it had relevance.
Trinidad vs Miranda @ 168 could be entertaining.
What about now @ 168?
He could make it competitive in that he could win some rounds and maybe not get blown out. He would simply get outworked though.
What time is the fight supposed to be starting at?
Yep.
Exactly.
This might be interesting if Oscar fought all three. Otherwise, no.
I think whoever wins will get another payday, but both guys would get waxed if they fought any good young fighter. That's why they're fighting...
Fightnews also reporting there's some kind of dispute about the gloves.
My guess is they both weigh in right at the limit.
Maybe they put that into the contract?
I suppose they all look the same to you.
Agreed. Both had some funny moments but overrall weren't very good and a lot of the stuff was predictable.
:bears:
Have you seen how hard he's been training? I've yet to see a bad word come out of ANY training camp. They've always trained hard and are in great...
I have a Ring Mag where the predictions were also very close when they asked a lot of people close to the sport. If there's any interest i'll post...
RJJ-Tito is well over 90% in favor of Jones. There's always going to be a favorite, but it's not always overwhelming on a board of boxing fans....
Ring generalship :nono:
He payed 35 dollars for the blue ray deluxe edition with special features.
