L is alright, he just lets his emotions on certain fighters affect his judgment so he'll make some awful predictions and statements.
I think Cotto is a very good fighter, and I don't think Shane has as much left as a lot of others do. I pick Cotto by UD 12.
It was a decent win. I'll give him credit for the fact that Oscar is the bigger man and Floyd really has no business fighting at junior middle....
Golota hasn't done anything in press conferences but has done some pretty bad things in the ring. And Golota has been arrested for worse things...
Nowhere near as bad as Hatton-Urango.
Good stuff....unification is overdue.
140 lbs.
I thought I was free from the groupie category? :flip:
It's the "G" in GLH for gay or girl? I'm hoping Cotto makes a big name for himself if he beats DLH in May, and that would help provide that...
I think it may happen. It's the biggest money fight for Oscar, unless there's a rematch with Mayweather. Cotto will have to move up again...
b-scene says a deal was reached for Feb 2 on HBO.
It looks like Floyd is already trying to people to look out for Hatton's holding and get a ref that won't allow so much wrestling. Hatton and his...
Anything useful- Teddy Atlas
Rahman's corner in the Lewis rematch. "Stick your arms out"
Riddick Bowe may have lacked desire outside the ring, but in the ring he had guts.
I think Hagler was too big and strong for Duran. Hagler didn't attack Duran with that much aggression, but Hagler was more of a boxer-puncher...
I don't know. I'm Donnybrooking this one. It could be that Holyfield always had his number. Holyfield was supposed to be shot in 1996, but he...
Kostya Tszyu: 1996-2002 Muhammad Ali: 1964-1967 Sugar Ray Leonard: 1979-1982 Roy Jones: 1994-2001 (?)
Hopkins was ranked by the Ring in the top 10. I think Hopkins was green and still improving as a fighter when Roy beat him, but then again, so...
I liked Gone Baby Gone a lot.
True.
Williams is a nightmare style matchup for Mayweather. I think Mayweather is an easier (or less difficult) fight for Williams than Cintron is....
I dislike Holmes. Though I did get a kick out of him saying that Howard Cosell tried to molest him at the dinner table.
"Unbeatable" is a bunch of crap, IMO. Even the guys who never lost in their prime could've easily lost under different situations/judges/eras,...
Bernard Hopkins? 96-01? Marvin Hagler? 79-83? Joe Calzaghe? Evander Holyfield? Feel free to name others and the time frame of their primes.
Tyson seems to always be very underrated or overrated. Not in the middle ground often enough.
Yeah, Hagler wasn't even one-dimensional or slow at all. He was a very versatile boxer-puncher who could brawl and had reasonably quick hands.
Ray Robinson also.
Veronica?
Marvin Hagler was a brawler. Fernando Vargas lost to Felix Trinidad simply because he chose to brawl instead of box. Oscar De La Hoya's corner...
