1. No, SOG is not a great movie. Especially not considering it dropped the same year as two GREAT crime movies - Goodfellas and Miller's Crossing....
Mostarda, thoughts?
I wasn't super impressed with the movie as a whole... but the car chase scenes are awesome. Namely the one in the beginning. But Drive is overall...
I just hope I'm not disappointed like last year... critics were saying that "It Comes at Night" was suppose to be this horror classic.... I...
I have a feeling we'll see a lot of fireworks in Williams-Gallimore. J-Rock should have the skill to take him apart, but that chin...
Agreed. Redux drags ass and diminishes the film.
I've heard nothing but great reviews. I'll check it out.
You're missing out. It's a cinematic masterpiece.
It is very re-watchable... SS is a better film tho.
Connor has proven to be a common hooligan.
Shawshank
I'd definitely take Camacho. I don't see Nelson solving his speed.
It's one of the best films ever made, the FUCK you staying away from it for? 40 years from now, TWBB might be held in the same regard Citizen...
And The Master would be my third choice. I recently rewatched Magnolia for the first time in years. It's very good, but a little overrated.
I do too. It's a great movie, and would be my second choice. It's just hard to beat TWBB.
In all seriousness... I don't think it's a gay. It's simply not my thing. It's the only movie genre I stay away from.

Holy E fuck! He picked over Hack!
I think Drive is a superior movie, but I'll admit, The Driver has the better car chase scenes.
I'm proud to say that I've never in my life sat through a musical, so no, never seen either one.
Versus no movie that I can think of. Just giving it recognition cause it's largely forgotten.
This is one of my controversial opinions, but I think Thief is plain better. Arguably THE BEST 80s crime flick.
TFOEC is one of the very best 70s crime movies imo. Robert Mitchum is superb in itm
The 70s hits continue. Excellent movie, and it's an excellent movie because of the masterclass performance of Jack Lemon
Look it up then ya cuunntt.
Agreed. Klute is a slow burn but it's pretty suspenseful. Much darker than Night Moves.
DW is the more popular mainstream movie but Rolling Thunder is much better imo.
Airplane by a goddamm galaxy. You gotta compare Airplane to another comedy masterpiece like Blazing Saddles.
Two solid 70s noirs.
I feel like MASH should be compared to Catch-22
