incidentally i cant watch the fucking fight due to the fact that sky tv are wanka muppets. what the fuck is primetime and why is mick hennessey such a bonehead
Theres no stylistic similarity with Ottke and Abraham will after tonite have faced arguably his two biggest challenges, Dirrell and Miranda in the rematch, on foreign soil....it already could never be a repeat of the Ottke era
PHACT. That said, Ottke fought a lot of good fighters, in both the Pro and Am game. But he never made that trip to the USA and he never had anything like the Super 6.
Im going for Abraham, on this one, he is going to be too strong and too defenive for Direll. I can even see direll getting knocked down in this one, but i think it will still go to points.
Dirrell should use his boxing skills in this fight...jab and box from the outside. Abraham is not the guy you want to go looking for....
What a weird post. Did you see Dirrell against Frock, and if so, you're even entertaining the idea that Dirrell is going to "go looking for" Arabham? ::
By all rights, if the rules were ever enforced in the ring,.. Dirrell would be docked points for bitchin'... but he's at home sweet home,.. and the rules are never enforced,.. Dirrell wont be penalised for bitchin' in his very own pressure bowl of fans,.. Arabham needs a knockout,.. but he wont come out for a fight,.. and Dirrell should pick up the decision,..and the American scribes will cheer,.. saying,.. "Well, he was robbed against Froch so....."...but I could see Dirrell.. just tapping Arabham's gloves cautiously from the fringe.. and..maybe there will be no choice but to score it for Dirrell... Arabham just will not go bazerk enough. I'm happy to be wrong about this,.. but Dirrell's home town advantage is the trump card I think.
Now they say,.. a white man,.. doesn't know a Tom when he see's one,.. some say it is only something other black people can detect,.. but being white, I think I can detect another white man when I see one,.. thus,... TOM!!!,.. :crafty::stir:
dirrell easily won round 1. i have a feeling that abraham will unleash a beating in the middle rounds, but we'll see.
Dirrell took that well. Probably one of those rounds Abraham wins in Germany and Dirrell wins at home.
some good action in round 3. dirrell was landing from the outside and eventually got caught by a lunging right hook from abraham. abraham landed two more big shots but dirrell appeared to have taken them well. regardless, 3-0 dirrell.
Abraham needs to move forward. He can´t beat Dirrell going backwards and he can´t get reckless, but he can hit Dirrell.
So my point is El, why would you NOT be shocked? Don't get arsey, it's a simple question. Clearly you rate Arabham a lot, so why would you NOT be shocked that Dirrell is winning easily?
I know I talk a lot of shit about AA, but I do say I respect his toughness. I'm very surprised he seems discouraged, he seems mentally tough.
