Yeah, Chode Mendes is pretty small. Short, and doesn't have enough girth to compensate for his lack of length. Obviously Greggles can fight, but a bit like Jon Jones at 205 and Nicholas Walters at 126, his size seems to be a significant factor. He even looked bigger than Poirier, who is a 155 pounder.
Trpl called him a "kid", but the funny thing about Greggles is even though he's only 26, he looks mid 30's.

It's quite simple my dear boy. Aldo wants Mendes to win. Why would Aldo want Mendes to win and not The Irishman? The Irishman winning would mean a guaranteed 4 million dollars. Mendes winning? Pennies.
If McGregor wins impressively, it will set up the biggest money fight of Aldo's career. Mendes doesn't have the same kind of potential star power. Mendes / Aldo 3 would be interesting, but I'd probably stream that one instead of buying the PPV.
If he was afraid of Conor and thought he might lose. He knows he can beat Mendes. I don't think he's afraid of anyone, but that's the only reason why he'd root for Mendes.
I don't know what's going on more than anyone else. I tend to think Aldo might have really had a bruised rib in training and decided to pull out because he wasn't 100%. I got a bruised rib playing football. It sucked. A lot of people think that Aldo is scared because he pulled out of this fight. If he's legitimately injured, it would make sense to wait until he's healed before he fights. He pretty much has to face the winner of this fight if he wants to keep his belt.
Aldo should change his name to hoe-say ow do Cuz he's like ow ow my whittle ribs... Maybe he should just hang it up and open up a chicken joint. Have you guys ever been to one of those Brazilian steak places? Those are pretty good, or he could open a Brazilian chicken place since he is a chicken, he could call it HOE-says
That was a crazy flying knee knockout. Pickett was out cold while he was falling down, then he woke up when he hit the ground. Matt Brown looked awesome too. I missed the earlier fights, but the last 2 have been awesome.
This reminds me of that fight night a couple months ago, except there are 2 championship fights coming up. :) This is fun.
I'm going with Robbie and Conor in the main events. The fights should be exciting no matter what happens.
I think Rory might take it. Not confident in my pick at all, as I will 100% focused on McGregger this whole build up.
