I don't think any of those decisions were worse than Pac vs Bradley really. They were all bad though.

It was one of the 3 highest profile fights of the year. And one of the very worst decisions to boot. So i'd say so, by a mile, yes.

In 30 years it'll be right in the conversation with Pernel-Chavez, Lewis-Holy I etc.

30 years from now we will reconvene and see if you're correct. I will add that the Whitaker and Lemmon fights were clearly the robberies of their respectful years, if Bradley-Pac makes the grade in 30 years it's more a function of hyperbole than fact.

How many people honestly thought Bradley won? Where are they? I think more people agreed with the Pernel & Lewis robberies.

I can think of two important ones who thought he won.

Not really considering the question you'd asked didn't address what I've maintained. I've never said any majority thought Bradley won. I didn't even say I thought he won.

The point I made (several times) is there were worse decisions in this year that should have received the same amount of scrutiny and outrage. That doesn't say the Bradley win was a good decision, it means precisely what I stated.

In the case of the Whitaker and Lemmon fights...save for Mexicans (who will tell you in hushed tones Chavez lost that fight) and Double L...the vast majority do not believe Chavez nor Holyfield deserved the decisions.

if it makes you feel better, perhaps you should do research and come up with polls taken at the time to push your point further down the road.

It was the 2nd biggest fight of the year. Everybody saw it, so everybody has an opinion.

From memory, more people thought Holy and Chavez won, and bear in mind they were both DRAWS, Pacquiao got a fucking loss on his record in a fight he won 10 rounds of.

Given that, I don't see any argument that this is less of a robbery. Almost no one genuinely believes Bradley won, and to top it off, it's an official loss.

Against Whitaker?? Methinks your memory is faulty :)

I don't recall anyone at that time who thought even Chavez getting the draw was remotely fair. The decision caused every bit as much of an outrage as the Bradley-Pac decision.

Over the years, some Whitaker-haters like Double L have tried to make a case for it being a close fight, but that isn't remotely close to the truth.

This is the most ridiculous decision I have seen since Whitaker/Ramirez I

I was rooting for Bradley, I picked him to win, wanted him to win. He lost by a mile

LOL it's only been 3 weeks and most smart boxing fans have figured out they got duped into thinking a close fight was one-sided.
