Bisping's face was destroyed. He was literally knocked out at the end of the 3rd round, but it was a controversial moment so the ref didn't stop it. Bisping had lost his mouthpiece, and he was pointing at it to the ref when Anderson knocked him out with a flying knee right before the buzzer. The ref didn't stop it, so they kept fighting. Bisping was rocked and almost knocked out in the next 2 rounds, his face covered in blood the whole time, but he kept fighting. I don't know how the judges didn't give the last 3 rounds to Anderson.

It was actually a good fight. It shouldn't have been this close of a fight. Anderson was dropping his hands and clowning like he did against Forrest Griffin, only he's not fast enough to do that and dodge punches anymore. Crazy unorthodox fighting tactics only work when you have the speed to make them work.

Bisping doesn't have anything to be embarrassed about. He fought his heart out and actually won the decision. Anderson did a lot more damage in the fight and should have won. He had flashes of brilliance at times. It reminded me of Roy Jones after the Tarver fights. He is still a good fighter, just not the legend he used to be.
