I have seen Andy Lee a few times and I don't see what the hype is about. I think Daniel Jacobs has a better chance of living up to his hype than Lee does.
Yah of course. I pick lots of fights correctly. I don't always post a pick for every fight.. because some are just too obvious... like Roy over Tito, Mayweather over Hatton. I correctly picked Taylor over Hopkins twice and know for a FACT that Marquez will beat Pacqiauo. I have also correctly picked Juan Diaz to win every fight he's had.
I love posts like this one.. you say "your an idiot" while showing that You are an idiot :: "your" is a pronoun your (The possessive of you) Belonging to you; of you; related to you.

Let's meet tomorrow at your convenience.
Is this your cat?

what you meant there is "You're" Contraction you're You are.

You're almost as smart as I am

Not one of D-MANs greatest prediction threads. I´m actually a bit concerned that Haye gets a little overconfident now that he knows D-Man predicts total heavyweight failure, it´s like a free pass to the undisputed crown. ::
D MAN is a great guy, but I've been saying for a long time that he knows way less about boxing than anyone else here. ::
Zuniga would have brutalized Lee. Zuniga is a 100% better version on the guy that beat lee last night.
Yep :: I have nothing against DMAN at all, I don't dislike the guy, but he is like the new kellerman as far as picking fights goes. He's also picked Judah in every fight he's ever had ::
Without a doubt. I'm surprised Lee was so overrated. It goes to show that even pretty knowledgable fans do buy into hype. I bet if Lee - Zuniga would have happened, most of this forum would have picked Lee. And Lee would have been CRUSHED.
IMO Lee was really loving and believing the hype. I want to see if he posts this video on youtube like he posted the ones of his wins.::
The guy has skills. It isn't like he is a no talent.. It was the hype that was ridiculous, and the fact that boxing fans bought into it to an extint. Who knows...Andy Lee may use this as a learning experience and be better off for it. Let's face it, if he had taken on a brutal puncher, he would almost assuredly been ruined last night, for good maybe. But he didn't get brutally kayod, and didn't take an enormous amount of punishment from the average-powered Vera. So he can come back maybe. As I said in my first reply on this thread....it was ridiculous at this point to claim that he is already world class, and just as ridiculous to assume he stinks. He just isn't anywhere close to Manny's stupid report card. But it should be a looong time and a whole lot of improvement before he thinks about a savage like Pavlik.
Mex, you lying SOB- where the hell did I say that Lee was the goods? You are a man who twists the words of others. I am not impressed...::
Agreed it's a learning experience. But having watched some of Lee, he never looked like "the goods" to me. The problem with prospects is a lot of them fight off of U.S. television early in their careers and someone in their camp hypes the hell out of them to the press and the press simply regurgitate it to the fans. It was the same with Joel Julio. Neither looked close to as good as the hype...even in their early performances before their losses.
To quote Jim Royle- 'MY ARSE'!!! And don't make me post an 'I told you so' thread in respect of Rees...:tease:
