don't see it with Parker. I'm not one of these 'get your hands up!' guys but OTOH he doesn't tuck it behind his shoulder either & he gets pretty wild with punches in close, too. His defence basically seems to be fast reactions and overwhelming over matched opponents with his own defence.

:jaw: I pretty much wrote the same thing. Considering that we usually disagree with everything about fighters, perhaps have to reconsider my take

Parker has the natural attributes and talent (like Joshua) but I just don't think he has the technique or the willingness to learn (unlike Joshua).

After confirming he will introduce the action on Saturday night (Joshua-Whyte), the world famous MC had this to say on the main event :

"With Tyson Fury now holding the world heavyweight title, this fight figures to give the winner an inside track to what must be considered an eventual monster all British contest for the most prominent championship in all of sports. The thought of that boggles the mind"

Yeah I tend to agree. He's exciting because he's young, big and fast with a good punch, but he's wild and lacks some skills. No idea on the chin either, but being Samoan it'll probably be decent enough.

Should provide some excitement in the division anyway.

own offense, but I agree with you. I don't see much potential in Parker apart from decent athleticism , and is once again a sad reflection of the hw division that some are getting excited about him. Still, from what I know, he picked up the game late, so who knows (though he's also a rugby player so I doubt he's gonna really commit to boxing)

Edit : Just realized I had him confused with Sonny Boy William, I saw Parker fight vs Meehan but it proves 0 has Kali was a punching bag at this point. Still, will keep and eye on him.

Parker would destroy Williams, who is basically a sideshow.

BOSS sees Whyte cracking that chin. Sidenote, odds on Joshua on points is a ridiculous 11-1.

Does Masternak have a shot at 4.5 odds? How good is Bellew?

Don't know much about him. All I know is Bellend is shit and fat at cruiser. I'm not expecting a thriller. In fact, I won't be watching their fight. I'd rather play chess on my own because I know it'll be much more exciting than any Tony Bellend fight.

If Masternak has trained. he has a very good chance, in fact if it were on neutral territory I would pick him without question.

Masternak lost on July against Johnny Muller in South Africa but it was a highway robbery, Masternak put Muller down twice.

Apart of that he has only lost to Drozd and Kalenga who both are considerably better than Bellend.

Bellend doesn't have the speed to trouble Masternak and he isn't a puncher.

Close fight but to me Masternak has the edge

yeah sorry thats what i meant. Typing on an iphone is basically the equivalent of trying to post after 11 pints- you spend so much time going back to correct typos you can't follow through a train ride to London thinking or, like, something? Offence and stuff.

Anthony Joshua, the heavyweight showcase of Matchroom Sport and Sky Sports, is not losing to Dillian Whyte, I can assure you.

Whyte's overcompensating. Trying too hard to play mind games.

I think it's starting to hit him now and he's shook.
