The fact that AJ is going straight to Fury, and not attempting to rebuild anymore let's you know that he's resigned to the fact that this is his cashout.

Fury stops him, and AJ retires.

its a huge money fight for joshua and fury. biggest in boxing for sure. i think fury beats him down but joshua has the size and power to hurt him

AJ has no chance if Fury trains.

If Fury were to lose a guy as shitty as Joshua, his legacy is ruined.

fury should win by stoppage. but joshua can punch and is much more skilled than that bum wilder who had fury hurt several times. Id make fury a -300 favorite or so. its not like he's gonna be a heavy heavy favorite.

Wilder's unskilled, but he's a much bigger hitter than AJ.

Wilder also has more heart than AJ.

Fury should be a huge favorite.

Sounds like this will happen and so it should. AJ would be a fool to not take it. Huge opportunity for him. Don't think he wins but he'll give a good account of himself.

I think Joshua will have his moments to be fair. He's not that good but he's a big, strong guy with pride, he's not going to just fold. Plus with it being an all-British heavyweight title fight at Wembley and all, he's going to have a proper go, and in retrospect he did alright against Usyk last time. Fury wins, and I think stops him, but I'd be surprised if it's a completely one-sided beat down, due to the intangibles at play.

Wilder has silly, retarded power and he's fast to boot. His lack of technique is actually a plus in many ways as he's hard to read. You don't know when it's coming (and I doubt he does either), but the threat is always there. The blueprint has well and truly been laid down now though so it might all fall apart for him from here.

If Fury is even 80% of what he was in his last fight, AJ doesn't hear the final bell.

It's not so much who, but how. He's so woefully inept technically that he gets outboxed by most of his opponents, but then it's one shot and night night. If Fury beats Usyk then he solidifies himself as clearly the best fighter of his era, and Wilder dropped him 4 times despite being VASTLY inferior from a skillset perspective. I might be wrong here so feel free to correct me, but hasn't he dropped everyone he's faced thus far? Yes I'm aware his resume is severely lacking for the most part but it does include the guy who is in most people's opinion the best around.

    Are you being serious?

That's like hating Jones, and because of it saying that Jones wasn't fast.

Wilder has zero skill whatsoever, and he's shit, but he's easily one of the 10 biggest punchers the division has ever had.

You can objectively say that, and still say that Wilder is shit outside of that.

Breazele had gone 7 rounds with AJ. He was rendered half dead with the first right hand Wilder caught him with.

Let's hear some evidence for AJ...

I feel like this hyping of AJ is all to make Usyk look better.

Anthony Joshua is a fuckin bum.

If Fury loses to him, he needs to go back on drugs.

I think AJ was maybe pushed a bit too quickly in retrospect. I totally get taking the Klitschko fight at the time. It was big money, sell out Wembley and all that, and on paper it looks like the risk paid off because he won. I think he's been spooked ever since then though. Plus, because he picked up a belt in the process he had the pressure of "world title fights" ever since. He should really have left it and continued with a gradual education. He never had the natural innate ability and calmness that truly elite fighters have, but I do think he could have been better.

who's hyping joshua? i dont think much of him. he's a lot more skilled than wilder though. Ive been consistently saying wilders an unskilled bum since early in his career. his power is good, but i dont see any evidence its something special. joshua has a much better resume than him.

if wilder was the puncher everyone makes him out to be, he wouldnt have landed his best punches vs fury and failed to KO him in 30 rounds or whatever they fought.

Fury completely drugged and coked up is still good enough to beat AJ

Id say less skilled technique wise, but more durable. bailey got better victories on his resume, too.

    Their styles weren't alike.

Bailey was more like a much less talented, and much less durable version of McClellan.

Louis, Shavers, Liston, Foreman, Marciano, Frazier, Tyson, Cooney, Dempsey, and probably Lennox and Dempsey were bigger punchers imo

I'd honestly only have Lewis, Tyson, Foreman and Shavers as bigger punchers than Wilder and I can't stand the guy.
