I never saw anything in Joshua apart from size and athleticism. Skill wise, he's really really rudimentary and the only reason he achieved more than a Michael Grant is because the division was so poor (and never fought the top guns to booth). Fury wins comfortably

Good comparison. Yeah I can see the similarities. Big athletic HW. Micheal Grant 2.0

I'll take Fury all day long. Easy money.

Joshua wins because Fury is a goof who lets him win....AJ literally coming into this with zero to lose and all to gain. Has to erase the stench of Usyk II post fight smell. Will be totally written off and totally carefree.

Don't look past the sight of Fury all over the place Vs Wilder.

Not surprising the HW division has always had the best ppv numbers out of any division. That's because casuals gravitate towards the HW division in general. It has a cross over appeal.

Canelo's PPV was a lot more expensive though.

I call bullshit on Fury saying the Joshua fight is dead because AJ's "missed the 5pm deadline." Fury's all mind games. There's too much money to be made from this.

It's Like Fury "Retiring", Which has Occurred What, 3-4 Times Now???:duck:...Par for the Course in Prizefighting, but Hardcore Fans Sniff Out the BULLSHIT In Statements as Such, Before They're Even Printed...

Despite Joshua's LOST Luster, that's Still a Huuuuge Fight for the UK, Fury and Hardcore Fans Across the World...Clearly, Fury's The GUY in the Division, But Joshua Still NEEDS to Be Dealt w/Domestically...And Since Usyk Won't Be Available for FULL Unification Until 2023 @ the Earliest, the Time is RIGHT for Fury-Joshua...

Fury's Posturing, No More, No Less...They'll Fight Before the End of the Year...

Yeah. Fury's clever. He knows shit like this will get people talking. Loads of people will fall for it. They'll tear into him, will call him this and that, then once Fury-Aj is confirmed, they'll be rooting for Fury. There already is and will be more excitement generated for this fight.

The pros outweigh the cons. It is a bigger risk for Fury and could jeopardise a Usyk unification fight, but it still makes so much sense to fight Joshua. Battle of Britain's top two heavyweights. AJ might not get this opportunity again so he has to go for it now.

The two top brittish hw? Are u sure about that. Joshua is 0 and 2 in his last fights. How many chances does this guy get just for being Brittish? Imo he should be out of the hw picture. What has he done since getting his asskicked by Andy Ruiz to deserve Fury?

Joshua may be on a losing run but he's still a huge draw in the UK. Fury knows this. Fury-Joshua is much bigger than Fury-Joyce or AJ-Joyce.

In this case it's not about earning the right to face Fury, it's about the £££.

Well that's what I mean at this point AJ might not be the second best UK HW. That title might belong to Joyce. I say make a chest full of money with Joyce vs AJ winner gets the winner of Fury-Usyk. Great retirement fight then Fury rides off into the sunset.

Ok I'll take your word for it since you live there. But still I dont think AJ has any chance to beat Fury. A waste of time.

I think AJ can still claim second spot in Britain, until he faces Joyce (if it even happens). Despite the losses, Joshua has a much better resume than Joyce. That should still count for something at this current point in time. He got handily beaten by one of the best boxers we've seen for some time in Usyk, but he still beats the majority of the heavyweights in the World (taking out Fury and Wilder).

Aj is well known amongst casuals. Huge name here obviously. I don't think the same can be said with Joyce. The wins over Dubois and Parker would have increased his popularity/get his name out there for sure, but he'd need a win over a name like Wilder to really get people talking. Even a win over Whyte would serve him well.

Nor should it ..Charr was the final fight of a totally shot Vitali Klitschko, who still cut and dropped him. Povetkin ruined him. The guy wasn't relevant 10 years ago he's not relevant now.

That said, is Fury due a gimme?

Or has he used it all up Vs that cluster of bums he fought between the first two Wilder fights?

Nah, go for the AJ fight. Not getting any younger and this opportunity might not come around again.

He did fight Chisorah before anyone did really. Very young when he did that turning in better performances than a lot of people did Vs the same man

He's got to constantly try and get in range and let his hands go downstairs and up top. Has to be relentless and go for it. Joshua doesn't hit as hard as Wilder so he has to try and beat Fury up over the course of the fight. But Joshua just hasn't got the motor to do it. Can only do it in spurts. That's not going to be enough and AJ isn't going to outbox Fury, either.
