Incidentally, speaking of Arreola's jiggle - did you guys hear Jim Lampley's comments at the very end of the telecast tonight? About how you can't spend 10 days partying, having fun, drinking, etc., etc. and still beat a Klitschko?

I must have missed the event that spurred this commentary... is this what Arreola did in training camp? Is that where this Lampley dagger came from?

Lampley as usual made an idiotic and effeminate point. If Arreola gassed, he might have a point. Had Arreola thrown 5 punches a round ala Sam Peter, he might have a point. Arreola was reasonably active and when he was active he got splattered even more.

Arreola lost to VK in the womb. He had no business fighting him. If drained of his lard, Arreola would be a lightheavy and probably a decent one. Arreola could have trained for 4 years and he might have gone the 12.

Yeah. Arreola is known for missing training sessions and partying on the weekends.

I agree, Arreola could not have performed any better if he literally trained all his life for this fight. It was because of this fact that I wasn't entirely sure Lamps was talking about Arreola directly. It takes a particularly skewed perspective to criticize someone who just far exceeded anyone's wildest expectations of him. Worse yet, Lamps could have said this during the later rounds of the fight, but thought he'd better not just in case the fat man rallied. Just in case....

Also, based on how Arreola fights, eats, and how he apparently parties while he trains, I predict that he will out-Vargas Vargas in terms of burning out fast and becoming a shell of yourself at 25.
