    Even if its mostly hot air i dont begrudge Yarde one bit of the hype he's gotten since the weekend, the dude fought like a fucking hero. He's due some salving praise while his bruises heal

    I'm in agreement with that.

    Yarde won't hurt any less or have fought any worse for the balderdash comments of the guys in the studio.

    A redhead dying on a roof in July is still dying, no matter how easy his olive-skinned mates find it.

    My point merely is that while Ward Vs Gatti Round 9 was a great round of a great fight, nobody mentioned either man in the same breath as Locche after the fight.

    Yarde absolutely did his best and contributed a more skilled and cohesive plan than the better-known but ill-advised Joe Smith Jr. He had a plan to win, tried to win and hurt and cut his man.

    That should have been enough. There was simply no need for anyone to start name-dropping the slickest British light-heavy ever :Jest:
