Artur Beterbiev vs Dmitry Bivol 2

I have Beter ahead through five, but not scoring as I'm enjoying it. Much better fight than the first so far.

Just like the first....Bivol landing the punches you can see...he can't miss with the straight right, but Beterbiev is on him the whole round, overwhelming him with activity. Hitting gloves/forearms.....


Bivol hoping for Beterbiev to walk into one of those RIght hands.......

Better can't do anything with this guy. He can't pin him down or hit him with anything clean. Not scoring, but feels like Beeevol is winning and has already done enough unless he has a disaster in the last round.

Beterbiev looked WASTED in round 11......frustrated that he's getting hit and can't hit that oriental fucker....

After 6 rounds at best it was 4-2 for Beter...but after round 7 it's been all Bivol, mostly......

So at best Beter won 5 rounds....so it can still be a draw or 1pt either guy....really...

Can't really see how Beter can reverse that. He's not been able to do anything with this bloke for 24 round and he's only going to get older. Bivol is just a little bit better than him.

Very disappointed until the final fight. Lot of fat hapless overrated unprepared cunts showed up tonight. Minor plus side is Sheeraz being showed up as a Brit/Euro level guy who lacks the intangibles. Pops Garcia still ain't seen a Pakistanian that can fight.

Bivol won it 7-5 or 8-4. Nice adjustment from him. The fight itself was even better than the first. Great high level boxing from both guys.

 

Was interesting fight. I can see why AB didn't want the rematch. He just can't catch him clean.

Half way thru 3 thru half way thru 7 this fight was all Beterbiev.

A draw was possible but the right guy won.

Beterbiev still executes Benavidez, but Bivol-DB interesting to me.

 

Yeah, good fight but lacked dramatic moments to be considered a great fight imo. Bivol turned it around in the second half and won clearly. Bivol is definitely an ATG, I don't think he's at Qawi, Jones or Spinks level but it can now be discusses

 

yeah, a draw would have been a stretch, but a beterbiev win would have been a terrible robbery
