But seriously, see what I mean about lame superheros ? Aquaman ? Really? What the fuck ? Please don't tell me he sleeps in a fish tank and his kryptonite is forgetting to feed him while going away on vacation.

 

I'd be curious to know the comparison of tickets sold instead of gross. Considering ticket prices are generally higher then add in the higher cost for IMAX and 3-D...grossing more money isn't all that surprising.

I didn't see the Dark Knight until it was on DVD...was there a 3-D version of that as well?

I gotta say from all the superhero movies I have seen I must say I enjoyed X-Men origins the most. (I've seen around 10 superhero movies)

being "more mature" doesn't necessarily a better movie make.

I happen to think Raiders of the Lost Ark is a better movie than Shawshank redemption...although I love both.

The fancy dancy elitist critics would scorn me for such a suggestion...but being a better film, doesn't mean that it has to be less kid friendly.

I think Avengers is every bit as good as DK....whether my son and his 9 year old friends can relate to it or not.

I prefer the present Batman style of movie-making as far as Superhero movies are concerned.

That said, I'm one of the few that rate "Batman Begins" well above "The Dark Knight", which outside of the Ledger performance was a disappointment for me.

I just couldn't get over that stupid fucking Black Bigwheel he started driving around Gotham City. ::

 

I'm with you on batman begins being better than Dark Knight. BB was EXCELLENT, very underrated.

I loved Dark Knight too, but the original was better.

I know Xplosive, for one, rated Batman and Batman Returns over Batman Begins which I think is asinine!

Also most people here keep talking about TDK...but I rarely hear BB being spoken about with the same passion.

Even back in the classic groundbreaking 60s and 70s, DC were fucking way behind until they started getting all 'serious' and 'adult'.

 

It's about as :shit: as any other M Shakalakka Nitemare movie...

 

It's good for one, solitary performance.

Everything else is utterly forgettable, including Batman himself.

 

The Dark Knight is the greatest comic movie of all time...and the other Batman had nothing to do with it....Bale sucks...I dislike Batman Begins.....and the DK rises will probably also suck penis.
