Steward appears to not like Pacquiao. He's already gone on record twice predicting loses for the Pacman. He said Pac would lose against Cotto and believe it or not against Clottey. He's either jealous of Pac's ability or pissed he didn't get a job offer. Either way he appears to be very biased against Pac.
You can feel it through the mic, that Kellerman was sitting there and trying to get in there and interrupt him. Steward was probably dialing up the Hitman.
I sort of pictured Lamps sitting between Steward and Kellerman at the broadcast table, facing the ring and refusing to look at his other broadcasters. So I envisioned them both staring right at Lamps the whole time like "WTF? Shut up." and Lamps intentionally staring directly ahead, ignoring them, and every time Kellerman or Steward would just barely open their mouths he would suddenly yell "BANG!" again at the top of his lungs, shutting them up. Then finally Kellerman gets a sentence in and everyone wonders if maybe Lamps had some sort of seizure.
It was one of the weirdest broadcast moments I've ever seen. My friends are I were joking about it for hours after the fight.
Yeah. Weird. Did anyone else notice Max cut himself short when he started talking about Showtime's tournament?
