In terms of action, the first Prince Charles-Czyz fight was one of the top 10 best light heavyweight fights of the 80s.
Czyz wasn't bad at 175. He had good power, good handspeed, and was a good combination puncher. Also a very good finisher. He just was never elite.
Oh, have to add if it hasn't come up... RJJ v. Ruiz!! Awesome chess match. Absolutely thrilling start to finish, virtuoso Jones performance that had the element of Jones getting KTFO danger throughout (and far more danger than we perhaps realized at the time..). Not a ton of ‘sustained action’- but the skillset and just overall ‘uniqueness’ of that fight was really special.
Gavilan-Graham 3 is the GOAT of chess matches IMO - a briskly paced and entertaining fight with plenty of skill and changes in tactics from two master craftsmen.
