Better fighter: Joe Calzaghe or Oleksandr Usyk

Brewer was effective if you couldn't get him outta there. Outside of the flukish Dirrell KO, Plant isn't a big puncher. Charlo hasn't proven his power above 154 really. I'm not convinced he would crack Brewer at 168. Nothing Charlo has done suggests he has more power than Calz.

 

He obviously has more power at 160, would it carry at 168, i would think so since he's a big guy.

Yeah, that's all fair. I'm no Calzaghe fan btw. He's a bellsniff and was a horrible ducker until very late in the day. No real way if knowing how good he actually was because he never tested himself enough. Froch fought everyone and anyone. He's a knob on comms but he was a warrior in the ring. I rate him higher than Calzaghe, historically, fwiw.

It's all well and good that Froch fought more guys, but every single Froch victim would be a huge underdog to Calz. The opposite is not true. I would pick the fresher Kessler of 07 to beat Froch clearly, and I would pick even faded Hopkins Joe fought to outbox Froch.

I can't in good conscious rate Froch above Calz. I think Froch has gone from underrated to one of the most overrated fighters ever.

 

You also picked Abraham to easily beats Froch.....
