Floyd is noticeably faster than Pacquiao
There is the Roy/Zab level.
The Whitaker/Floyd level.
and then the everyone else level.
Just because Pacq managed to land his first punches against oscar-just-saw-medusa hoya in one fight doesn't change the reality that he is just a fast fighter.
Floyd has ALWAYS been able to land his lead right against EVERYONE he's ever faced because it is lightning fast.

Whitaker was also faster than Floyd.

Floyd is more economical than pacman, probably "neater" than pacman, and more subtle, and clever - but not faster.

The velocity of Pacman's punches are CLEARLY faster than floyd's, it's not even close. Floyd's right hand isn't even that fast, but it's so straight and accurate, with enough speed, that it lands most of the time anyway.

Watch Floyd against Oscar, then Pacman against Oscar, and you'll see Pacman is faster.

I can't even believe you're arguing it. Pacman is as fast as Zab or prime Mosley, several notches above Floyd.

Their speed is not even comparable. Floyd's punches look slow in comparison, and fairly telegraphed. Pacman's come out of NOWHERE, with lightning speed. Floyd is a master technician, with acute timing and accuracy, and punching technique, but he is NOT a speed demon.
