Chavez is easily top 20 all time

I don't see how anyone can argue that

he was simply an incredible fighter

Gangrenous George O'Callahan and Brown Boots would have stopped Chavez easily.

I don't understand this logic at all. It's not like his brother had a one-and-done fight career. He was a pro for almost 10 years. Not a very good one and sure more side show than anything else... but still a pro, therefore the perfect example of this thread.

idk I think of it more like he wasn't on anyone's radar. I mean if JCC jr had continued his early career run of fighting midwest cab drivers, then retired, would we really measure his accomplishments against his father's?

I just read this is being among a specific set of guys, where both at least got near the top 20 in their division. If we read it as just any brothers who both had pro tours, then the Ali brothers are the far and away winner.

Rahman Ali was underrated. Like Jake Lamotta, he had defensive wizardry like you've never seen.
