    One thing panther did fuck up in, was not putting an Asian character in the film. Probably should have found a way to get hatsune miku in there with a voice over or fan bingbing as a match for one of the Wakanda girls

    I actually went to a restaurant yesterday that was playing a bootleg cam copy of BP. I tried and mostly succeeded in not spoiling my upcoming movie experience by not watching, but what I did see looked kind of lame and gives me a feeling I won’t like it too much. Hope I’m wrong.

    There was! The old lady in South Korea that let them enter that clandestine casino. BTW South Koreans were laughing at her bad accent as it seems she was an American actress who couldn't speak Korean. Lupita Nyongo got better reviews for her more acceptable Korean lines.

Also if the film makes $37 million domestically this weekend, it will surpass "The Dark Knight" $535 million to claim the second spot behind 'The Avengers' in the highest grossing superhero films list.

    Black Panther took again the top spot at the box office for the fourth consecutive weekend with $41.1 million besting "A Wrinkle in Time" which bombed upon arrival with $33.5 million. Also BP finally opened in China and, contrary to Japan, it had one the best openings for a Marvel movie in that country with $66.5 million.

    I don’t think people love films just because of all black. Many black films are hated by blacks as well as liberal whites. BP is a quality film. It’s not the best superhero film ever, not even the best MCU film, but it is at a high standard and the fictional land of wakanda is fascinating, the acting was of a high standard, as was the plot and the execution. Memorable characters, good action, nice subtext (colonialism etc) etc. It’s not liked just because it’s a black film.
