I love Arum's reaction to what should be a reasonable stipulation. He's such an angry fucker. It may be mind games but they are just as guilty with the 10 million per pound.

I say 10 million per pound and 10 million per positive test.:nono:

REED HAS Addressed your Points, Buddy...

NO OTHER Fighter has Done what Pac has Done...In the HISTORY of Boxing, NO Fighter has Moved Up as MUCH w/the Level of SUCCESS that Pac Has...Fans, Journalists, etc., have WONDERED if Pac was Juicing PRIOR to Floyd Saying Anything...But Even w/that, Floyd Linked Pac's Name to Steroids PRIOR to the Cotto Fight...

So this ISN'T Something NEW that Floyd is Doing...He's Talked about Pac JUICING & How the Phillipines has "the Best Stuff" for QUITE Some Time Now...

It's Only "Psychological Warfare" if INDEED Pac is CHEATING...Because if he ISN'T, he SHOULDN'T Give a Shit about the Testing...The "Inconvenience" Is MINIMAL...It Takes LESS than 5 Minutes to Draw Blood, Buddy...Is that REALLY Gonna Compromise a Day of Training???...

It IS an ASSHOLE Move on the Part of Floyd, but Let's NOT Pretend that it's UNWARRANTED...

Really? Roy moved up 40+ pounds in his career from Jr. Middle to Heavyweight. I would call a Middleweight winning a heavyweight title just as respectable seeing as how it hadn't been done in over 100 years. Also, I didn't hear anybody saying he should have had to go through a sudden complete change in testing just before the Ruiz fight AFTER everything had already been settled. It's kinda bullshit to suddenly have to change the rules just on Mayweather's say-so.

Yes, it IS new to suddenly change the testing rules after the terms had already been agreed upon. If you can't see that as being new, I dunno what to say to you. It's new. Period.

It's psychological warfare regardless of whether Pac is juicing or not. Introducing 7-10 blood tests and 7-10 urinalysis tests at this late juncture is DEFINITELY psychological warfare...especially when your opponent is already fucking with you by calling you a cheater. I'd be pissed off, Pac probably is, and that is what Floyd is counting on.

If you've got someone coming over repeatedly to test you, even if you're clean, that many tests is gonna get aggravating...PARTICULARLY when it has never been done before.

Don't get me wrong. Mayweather has made accusations before, YES. Has he ever stipulated that any of his opponents have to go through this type of testing, NO. Obviously that is new and it amounts to gamesmanship when he has never done it before.

Hell, I'm surprised he hasn't done it before. Diego Corrales gained something like 15+ pounds before he stepped in the ring. Pac gains 6-8 lbs. He's not a big welterweight and Mayweather might not even MAKE welterweight.

I think it, the testing, should go just like it has for every other fight in each guy's career...under the auspices of the Nevada State Athletic Commission. Suddenly changing it AFTER they came to terms is crap.

Manny is probably looking at Floyd with total disgust and has decided that some tax-broke retiree is not going to dictate terms to him.

Of course, in Nut-Hug land, that constitutes "guilt"......

    :shit::shit:

I say Manny fights someone else, takes the tests for that fight, and when the IRS are kicking down Floyds door, he goes back to Floyd.

And we'll see what "demands" are made then.

Next to Double L you say the most ridiculous things.

The IRS joke on Floyd is really lame at this point. Seriously, he just made what... $15,000,000 in his last fight? And if Manny pulls out of the fight because of his needle phobia Floyd will probably fight Mosley and make around 20 millions. Poor Floyd, he's gonna be in so much trouble if Manny pulls out.

On the other hand, Manny would start to look suspect and more suspect to EVERYBODY. The media will start to openly question him and that will be the end of it.

Manny needs to go through with this. I know it's very hard but he needs to defeat his horrible needle phobia more than Floyd.

Floyd would B Going Thru THE SAME 7-10 Blood Tests & UA's, Buddy...Those WOULDN'T B Exclusive to Manny Pac...So the "Pyschological Warfare" Go's BOTH Ways...

If U HONESTLY Think Manny's RELUCTANT To Do this Because he DOESN'T Want to B Pushed Around by Floyd Mayweather, U have your Head BURIED in the Sand, Mate...

Mayweather isn't gonna fight Mosley. Mosley has been BEGGING for that fight for the last little while and Mayweather has been looking everywhere except Mosley.

Dude, Mosley has been begging probably his whole life. He probably begged Jin for 11 years to marry him as she was fucking other guys and telling him to fuck off until she got tired. That's just Shane in a nutshell.

That being said, if Mosley beats Berto and Manny pulls out of the fight because of his crazy needle phobia then Mosley becomes the biggest money fight for Floyd and considering Shane's passive "let me have the short stick" nature, Floyd will be more than happy to fight him for a 91.5-8.5 split and make Shane wear a tutu during the press conferences.

Now...Zab had Floyd down. I wonder if Zab was juicing too. Nobody has ever had Floyd down like that. Except when Floyd hurt his hand on Famosos head. In fact...fuck it...drag that motherfucker Famoso in too, and see what he has been taking.

Reed, a lot of people got streets and blvs named after them so that Manny Pac could enjoy Habeus Corpus...it would be a shame to undo that now in the name of Floyd Mayweather.

does anyone really think that olympic testing is that much better?

30 years ago nobody could run a sub 10 second 100M. The gap between a good high school runner and the olympic champs was 10.4 to 10.1

Now you got a guy like Bolt running a 9.6 and several guys running 9.8.

Jesse Owens couldnt win a high school track event. Have people simply evolved that much in 30 years? No but steroids have.

everyone does them, no reason to change the rules now.

BigDawg spent years here telling people about the evolution of the human race, and how todays fighters are better than yester-years.

Now all of a sudden, that has been abandoned in the name of "History" and "tradition" and Pacman bashing.

Olympic testing catches cheaters. It is the best method out there, to my knowledge. Steroids are a pervasive problem according to you and many others. I fucking hate steroids and consider them to be one of the very worst types of cheating.

You are presenting such a defeatist attitude to the problem that it's ridiculous. It's like telling your daughter to fuck every guy who asks because lots of other girls do...oh, and by the way, no need to have him wear a condom because condoms don't protect everyone.

A man is entitled to good name and reputation......in accordance with the law.

Pac walkin away fromt his fight no more affects his legacy than Jones failing a test, Shane getting embroiled in Balco, or Evander changing his name to Fields. Evan Fields.

    why are they a problem?

this is not a defeatist attitude simply a reality. the san diego chargers were undefeated AFL champions in 1971 with the introduction of steroids into their workout plan. after that every team was using them IN 1971! the average size of an nfl player has risen by over 50 LBS in positions such as linebacker even though the players have gotten faster.

olympic testing catches people who fuck up their cycles.

if your maximum athletic potential is a 4.6. 40 a 250 LBS bench press and a 36 inch vertical, using substances like dianabol, nandroline, testosterone can get you to 4.45 40, A 325 LBS bench, and a 39 inch vertical.

in professional athletics everyone is so close, roids are needed to reach the next plateau. the diff between a 4.5 and 4.4 40 are practice squad and starting RB in the nfl.

not to mention steroids increase reaction time, speed, endurance, and strength. steroids should be embraced not rejected. everyone is on them anyways. and the people who arent continue to fall further beyond the curve.

WBC, I asked this in another thread, but HOW do they pass olympic style testing?

I don't understand, with that many random tests, how do they pass?

In your opinion, do steroids have any negative consequences when used to enhance physical performance? If so, what are they?
