Lewis is actually under 6'5". Closer to 6'4

 

Golota looked his listed height. I am not sure Marvelous Marvin was really 5-10 or even 5-9, I had him booked at 5-8 or so, as was Harry Greb only 5-8 and not 5-10. Naz was accurately listed at 5-3, he was 5-3 or 5-4 at the very best. Barrera at 5-5 seems generous but fairly accurate, he was no taller than that but not much shorter if at all.

David Price seems accurately listed at 6-8, he really, really LOOMS over guys like Haye.

 

What makes you think so? Lewis has always looked pretty fucking big, he towers over pretty much everyone, looks a legit 6'5 to me.

 

Irish this is the pic I'm talking about. Eubank is not a small guy.

 

If Mike squares up, he would probably be a a bit wider and, of course, his back would have been out of sight compared to Eubanks. But Chris was definitely a 6-footer, no doubt, and built accordingly, he did after all stack up comparably with the sculpted Thompson, who was a "big" 190lbr and more than capable at 200lbs as Haye found out. Thompson was conservatively listed at 6-0.

 

I'd still say Mike is at least the same height, based on that, but yeah, Mike's listed height was exaggerated through most of his career.

I remember seeing on an old amateur site once that Mike's listed height at the golden gloves was 1.77cm, a smidge below 5'10. He turned pro young so he might have grown another half inch, but he wasnt 5'11 1/2 for sure.

I think Lewis was a legit 6'5, fwiw. I think Foreman and Bowe were both 6'4, no way there was 2 whole inches between them. I'd say Holy was 6'1 & a bit.

 

In that pic Eubs looks 2 inches taller I reckon, with both of them leaning/slouching, assuming his footwear is an inch, it makes him an inch taller than Mike. I know in real life Eubank looks no less than 5'11.

I agree Lewis looks a legit 6'5 for sure, and Holy more like 6'1. Holy didn't even look dramatically taller than Tyson.

 

Chris has his hips extended & back straight, plus I think there's easily more than an inch in those dress show heels. I'd be surprised if Eubank was taller, based on that. Maybe half an inch, absolute tops.

Still, crazy to think there was ever 60lb in ring weight between them when you see them in that pic

 

I was going to say, looking at them side by side, it's fucking nuts to think there is 80 pounds between their weigh in weights at least, 80 fucking pounds ::

And as I said, not just the photo - I can confirm Eubank absolutely looks a big guy irl, broad and solid.

 

I've met ricky burns & James Degale. No way did Ricky seem 5'10, more like 5'8. De gale seemed about 6', maybe 5 11 1/2

 

My friend says he's 6'4" and he's the same height as Lennox. I saw them together at a night club in East London ("Night Moves" in Shoreditch for the East London massive).

Sly, what height are you? 5'9" is pretty midgety by black standards. I am 5'9" and I am Irish, a race of noted midgets. PS what part of London do you hail from...I will go down and ask them if they remember a midgety fella, ran off to Canada, and they will be like "Oh, yea, that's Staff"

 

Neither surprise me. Burns definitely doesn't look 5'10, and Scrubby James always looks a good height next to people, I can believe 6 foot for him.

 

DeGale is a tall mother. Not tall enough to deal with the legendary Groves, but tall enough.

I wonder what Groves is going to look like when he is older. He's got such thin skin and hair, he'd probably end up going like Michael Carruth.

Nah Vitali is a tall mother. Wlad is probably 6'6 but he was never 6-7.
