Funny, I got caught up in this dudes story. Years ago this guy from the U.K. contacted me through my website asking me if I had any info on this Bare-knuckle guy named Bartley Gorman.

I'm looking through my files for some 1800's guy before I realize he's a modern day bare-knuckle scrapper, which I know nothing about.

Told the guy I don't know much about that aspect of the sport but I'd let him know if anything came up. Turned out this was the same guy who made a documentary on Gorman.

I didn't think anything of it, some time goes by and I start getting more people asking be about Bartley Gorman, volunteering little tidbits, having his relatives contact me out of the blue...........and eventually I end up getting invited to Bartley Gormans funeral.

I'm like WTF!!! is going on. I do a Google search, and it turns out this doof who did the doc., started impersonating me on all kinds of local U.K. and Irish Chat boards as some weird American who was researching Bartley Gorman and wanted any and all information on him........pointing them to my website.

    Fuckin' weird!

I learned my lesson from the "Wolf" debacle. No more funerals for me. :nono:
