Boxingtalk Hacked?

At one point B-talk had some fine writers. Jake and Zach were part of their crew. Now it's only a bunch of kids

 

b-talk would be more tolerable if their leader wasn't so cocky. but i'm not gonna lie, greg does a better job of breaking news than anyone else imo.

 

I only wrote for them for about three months, when Ron Heard still owned the site.

The site is/was actually a lot better after G took over. I know, not saying much. But when Ron had it, all he was interested in was ambulance chasing and pot-stirring bullshit. Not to say that much changed, but at least Greg went out of his way to add relevant content to the mix.

I thought they'd blow up after bringing aboard Katz,Willis, Kimball and Aguilar. But with good writers comes good money to pay out. Between that falling apart and Hype splitting, the site really doesn't hold my interest anywhere near as it used to,

 

but you're gonna find issues with just about every site owner. If Greg wasn't the way he was, he wouldn't have a site to speak of, or any of the relationships he has within the industry. People shit on him 24/7 (mostly behind his back), but I bet that 90% of the boxing media would kill to have his rolodex for a day.

 

haha i remember Ron. all of his stories were on either hopkins or judah. the only two that he ever interviewed.

i wrote for him briefly before g leon came on board.

whatever happened to him? there were rumors surfacing that he's in jail or something. i remember he had some website called badboysboxing or some shit.

there should be a fight night between all the writers.

well, pedro is a self-proclaimed golden gloves winner. i dont believe greg has any boxing experience.

kim seems like a bold guy for a reporter. he should fight lou dibella in a loser gets banned from the opponent's coast (ny vs la) match.
