that was my only hesitation in saying this fight will go the distance, in addition to your points they are of course southpaw vs. orthodox

I quite like Alexander's face. It's got an old school look, he looks more like a boxer from a generation or two ago.

Bradley by decision in a fight that starts out very competitive, but Bradley runs away with it in the later rounds.

I like Bradley in this one. Both guys get hurt or buzzed but Bradley will be busier and win the decision.

Bradley talks like he's this badass killer, but he's got fewer KO's than Alexander. I can see Alexander hurting Bradley with something he doesn't see but that's his best shot of KOing Bradley.

Tim almost always gets nailed with lefthooks...almost never sees them coming...Alexander as a southpaw can throw his left straight down the pipe. With that said, Tim gets buzzed but doesn't go out.

I think there's a ton of waiting around and feinting by Alexander which allows Tim to win rounds simply on being more active. Sadly, if Alexander pushed the pace with his straighter shots he could take Bradley out. Bradley punches SOOO damn wide with almost everything except his jab. Not sure if it's in Alexander's mindset to push the pace...he'll want to be patient and box which is a mistake against Tim.

    Bradley by decision.

I hope it doesn't end in a no-contest or technical decision, with Bradley always coming in with his head exposed, and Alexander being a southpaw. I'm leaning towards Bradley by 8-4 type decision. I think Bradley's a little more well-rounded and mentally tougher. Not that Alexander has shown to be a mental midget, but it's just a gut feeling I get with Bradley. Tim is not a big puncher but I like the way he's shown he can be effective at different ranges. Bradley needs to turn his punches over more though, and also, not leave that left hand so damn low when he throws the right hand.

Maybe he won't wing this right hand as much, with Alexander being a southpaw, but look at the location of his left hand when he loads up on the right.

The ONLY Thing REED is CERTAIN of in this Matchup is that it WON'T End EARLY...The CONSENSUS is a Distance Fight, but Let's Not Forget that Alexander STRETCHED Juan Urango of All People...So CLEARLY, the Cat has ENOUGH Pop to Get the Job Done, Despite his KO%...

Having Said that, REED AIN'T Predicting a KO Either:lol:...

TOUGH Matchup to Figure Out, which is why REED Can't Wait to Witness It...Bradley's Obviously More PROVEN, More SOLID, but Alexander is Younger, a Tad More ATHLETIC & is Equipped w/More "Bells & Whistles", so to Speak...More UPSIDE, Basically...

Fighting AWAY from St. Louis will Actually HELP Alexander...The Pressure & Expectations of Fighting @ the Crib AIN'T for Everybody, so Alexander SHOULDN'T B Judged SOLELY on the Kotelnik Fight...REED Saw Tim Bradley Get ROCKED by LESSER Fighters than Kotelnik, on a Couple ShoBox Cards a Few Years Back & Time has Shown that he SHOULDN'T B Judged By That...

REED LIKES Bradley as a Person AND a Fighter, but he's Leaning Towards Alexander in this 1...The HEIGHT Difference was ENORMOUS @ the Weigh-In & Alexander can MATCH Bradley's Workrate (if Not SURPASS it)...

Despite the KO%'s, REED is Expecting POCKET Warfare...These are 2 Young, UNDEFEATED, Alpha Males...1 is Gonna have to Administer Some SERIOUS Hurt Before the Other Acquiesces Entirely...There Probably WON'T B Blood or Knockdowns Every Other Round, but This Should B an Entertaining Fight...

& REED's Expecting Devon Alexander to B the Clear Winner of a COMPETITIVE Fight...

Man, I like both fighters. I hate matches like this because I'll hate to see either guy lose for the first time.

That being said, I am picking Alexander simply because he is the more naturally talented guy. Bradley is solid, but succeeds due to hard work and serious drive. Something tells me that won't be enough against Alexander.

Alexander via UD in a good scrap.
